    From a young age Sam always looked up to her father since he was the only one in her life. Her Mother had left shortly after she was born going to

    "galivant across the stars" the letters she left said. Sam's father Kenneth was her hero and she did everything she could too be like him.

    Unfortunately like most her father was killed in action leaving her with nothing but an empty house and a life that she needed to figure out.

    An old family friend by the name of Gary Fredricks took her under his wing getting her a job at the blasting yard near her house,

    teaching her the ins and outs of the business. She quickly moved through the ranks of the blasting yard soon becoming the youngest foreman the company had ever had.

    Sam's life has never been sunshine and rainbows but she makes it work. Soon after her eighteenth birthday she began talking to a

    Mobile Infantry recruiter becoming interested in following in her fathers footsteps. She is now stationed on the Grant doing her best at making friends and a new family

    as they move from star to star eliminating the threats to the Federation and her new family.

    LCpl Jamie "Dutchess" Sanderson - He is a sweet guy tries to hard in my opinion but he was one of the first people I talked to face to face. He was there when I got promoted and has kind of just been there ever since. Probably one of my better friends a on the boat so I cant complain with that one.

     

    Cpt. Sebastian Bently -  I've had the honor to have some one on one time with him he is truly a man I would want as a mentor. He seems like a hard ass who hates life but I've seen another side of him which gave me faith. Outstanding leader by the way. 

     

    TSgt Aiofe "Kansas" Hviteulven - She was a rauder when I met her and her boo thing. Truly a sweet and genuine person from what I've seen now she is my Tech Sergeant and I really can not complain. Happy to have her near.

     

    LT. John York - One of the first engineers I met while waiting in medbay to get my BT. Him and Aoife are adorable. He took my paper work and put me to work quickly hopefully I don't let him down!

    Haven't had many convos with him but who knows maybe that will change. We sat down and ran through some things.. this man truly is awe-inspiring I strive so that one day I can be like you..

     

    WO. Aaron Holtz - A warrant Ive been trying to get to join the engineers he keeps saying no but I know Ill get him to crack. Says he worries about my mental health and my ability to shrug off death. Holtz cant be too worried I give him cookies every now and then.

     

    Sgt. Kyril Layland - He has taken me under his wing and named me girl... Kinda fucked up but Im going with it because he is a good teacher. Gets annoyed quickly also seems like he thinks with his dick more than his brain but hopefully we keep it professional. I really don't want to run into any problems with relationships....

     

    Spc. Charlie Timms-  A fellow engineer also the one who first trained me. I think he looks over me like a big brother kinda sweet in that aspect always telling me Im going overboard though. The day I got promoted he  "Fell" into the glass a bunch and I didn't see him often after that. He is back now and yeah doing the big brother thing again.

     

    Sgt. Patrick Stevenson - I see him around a lot like... a lot. Usually the head honcho on drops when It comes to leading them. I've never had an actual full on convo with this guy but he seems like he knows his shit so maybe Ill learn a thing or two about him.

     

    Cpl. Alexander "Lick" Tschenkowtisch - He is a good dude. Strange like me kinda? Made me run shit ton of up and downs so I could keep my qrench after chasing him down when he said he ate the piano. Yes I was instantly triggered and threw a wrench at him... but all in all good dude who I hope stays alive.

     

    PFC. David Harris - I rarely hear a word from this man more so "Coming right up." or "I got you." Always behind the bar so I guess I would consider him the boats bartender? Im pretty sure he was checking out my ass along with Franke and Miller but eh boys will be boys. Does like when I play the piano though.

     

    2Spc. Sylase "Missing foot" Freeman - I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy this dudes company. He has a fucked up sense of humor like myself and didn't mind when I laughed a bit as we cut off his foot..

    Truly a trooper for going through an unnecessary foot amputation with multiple comedic pauses. Hopefully get to keep him around for a bit the world needs more crazy people.

    Claud Marcus Cozwin was born an only child to a father who abandoned his mother and him when he was an Infant. His mother was an alcoholic who was barely functioning so from a very young age Claud would take care of his mother during her drinking benders. Late one night the authorities came too his door step as he was awaiting his mother to inform him she had died on impact while driving under the influence. He swore that if one day he started a family he would never drink or put his children through the same hell he had dealt with. At the age of of twenty he was cleared to adopt a child finally taking a chance at making a family. He did everything he could providing for him while working at a local steel mill and it paid off. His adopted son Kim was just about to be fifteen when Claud decided to join the Federation leaving behind the only family he had. His son understood and took pride that his new father was joining to fight for their freedoms and beliefs. Sadly shortly after he was accepted into the Marauder program the attack on Terra happened. Claud's silence around many is not because he isn't social more so he is worried his son never made it. So he fights forwards hoping one day to see his son again.

    Too all that this concerns welcome to my last will and testament. Over these past few months I have been crushed multiple time left dying or worse actually dead.

    I thought this was a fitting move given the operation that we are about to proceed on. I know it may seem morbid but I know my life is coming too an end lets just hop..that it was one hell of a way too go out on. Sai.. too you I give my bar journal..make use of it make some wicked drinks and keep everyone in high spirits when Im gone. I know its not much but its one of my prized possesions and I couldn't think of anyone better to have it. To Miss Donovan my favorite medic I award you my guitar. I don't know if you play but cherish it I guess.. You were truly something different and I couldn't have asked for anything else in a friend. Last but certainly not least.. Ashley..my dear kitten. Im sorry I didn't get to say good bye too you. Weve been through one hell of a ride.. I want you to have my tags and white gold wedding band. The rest of my things burn space or give to others I don't care.. Im sorry too everyone, LT Archer, Tech Edwards you were my teachers.. and I couldn't have asked for better role models.. I guess I wasn't cut out for the Specialist life like I said I was. Too the rest of the platoon.. I love you guys..

    Spc. Devin Saiphan - Seems okay one of the few who hasn't given me problems or told me to fuck myself for no reason hopefully he becomes a friend. Because I can literally say Im in short supply of those... This man is one of the closest friends I have constantly talking about noodles.. He is a quirky one but overall he truly is the closest thing to a brother I have on the ship.

     

    Cpt. Daisy 'Hel' Bailey - I know little about her except some stories. She is my OIC and seems to be strict on discipline nothing wrong with that at all. I hope I can drop with her one day some of the stories of her fighting leave me awe struck like a child watching a superhero movie.

    Mom is gone... and I wont lie I feel a certain knot in my chest over this. I hope it was glorious like everything else you had done Ma'am..

     

    3Spc. Johnathan Skye - New guy to the marauders seems chill we in a group decided to call all the tall mofos Iron Giants. I think its fitting so Im happy that we all agreed. Needs to keep his eyes on the prize not bouncing things but other than that cant wait to see what the man can do.   Youre gone.. Just like the rest of the Iron Giants.. Guess Ill carry the torch too the new bunch.. Who knows..

     

    SSpc. Lyndsey "Lynn" Carter - She is a genuine sweetheart. A little awkward but nothing wrong with that in the least bit. Has a cone friend named John... but I mean I get it? All I have to say is thanks for not kicking me when I was down the first couple days I got to the Grant. Truly one I want to keep alive as long as I can. 

    My favorite Wasp... You were truly remarkable. You were always friendly too me and didn't mind if I stole John every now and again... You were an amazingly caring person.. The ship hasn't felt like home since your goofy self hasn't been around. 

     

    Spc. Ashley Olsen - She is a character also an orphan like I am. She is pretty broken from her past but I think she is realizing that we’re similar and is warming up too me. This is one I want to keep alive as long as I can.

    This chick is literally one of my best friends on board. She literally looks after me with everything. Who would have thought that a midget like you and a giant like me would even get along. Love you Kitten.

     

    3Spc. Haleem bint al-Attar - The Doc who kept me company after I was hit.. with a shovel... off a cliff... She splinted me and kept me in high spirits. Told me I was retarded for giving an Idea so I kinda let her do her thing after that and kept my mouth shut. She kept me company while I was stuck in med bay hands down one of the best medics I know.

     

    Spc. Maddox Ryder - All in all I cant read this dude... Acts like he has never eaten anything his whole life. Weighed maybe 110lbs soaking wet when I first met him so I helped him out a bit and shared my precooked meals for the week with the man. Truly believe this guy had to fight for food as a child so I feel for him. 

     

    Sgt. James 'Chev' Chevosky - Ive been on multiple drops where this man has lead from the front. He is hands down one of the best NCOs I have the pleasure of working with. He takes it to heart when something happens in the squad injuries, deaths, along with pointless squabbles. I just hope he keeps leading in the front.. Hang in there Chev.. Its hard but you truly need to keep pushing forwards and showing the new guys how its done.

    Died while I was gone.. I guess you lead the best you could.. I hope it was with honor when you rode into the gates my friend. Rest easy..

     

    2Spc. Thomas Constantinos - Can be a bit of an asshole but hey his humor is appreciated Skye Himself and I have dawned the nickname Iron Giants for the three of us so I cant really complain. 

    Well I don't know where you have gone records say you've been kicked out of rauders.. I don't know what you did but that hot temper of yours probably didn't help.. Hope to see you on the battlefield someday.. where ever that may be.

     

    Lt. Lux "Sol" Archer - First off let me apologize for missing the ` Over your nickname. Secondly lets get down to it. This woman is the new OIC of the marauder detachment here on the Grant i.e. My boss. Enough about the formalities though. She seems sweet and has her head on in the right direction. Dropped with her a couple times now and she knows her shit all I can hope is to learn everything she knows.

     

    PFC Maxine Valentine - A firecracker this one. She has a good head on her shoulders and has a bright future in the MI. One day I know she will be leading me and who knows maybe Ill get to know her better over a drink.

     

    PFC Jocelyn Holiday - She is a sweet heart always cooking and acting like a mom when It comes to food. Havent really gotten to know her but she seems like the kind of people I like to be around. 

    She..shes gone no one deserves to go the way she did. Rest easy Holiday.. Youre working in that beautiful restaurant of yours now.
