    --[[Federation Mobile Infantry]]--

Noemi "Tidbit" Rosangela: It's been a while, and although I recognize few faces, and even fewer friends, it's good to know some people here still recognize me. It's good to see she is still alive, but I can't help but wonder how.
Valerie Faust: Faust and I talk from time to time, but it becoming more and more rare. Pretty sure she and Edwards are getting close, very close. If it makes them happy, then have at it.
Vinera RoseRose, who is apparently Ashley Rose's sister (at least I think she is), from what I can tell seems to be at least a semi-competent trooper. I haven't talked to her too much, though I did watch as she got her ass handed to her by Faust in a sparring match. All three of us had drinks after that, fun time. I'll keep my eye on her, see what happens to her.

Joey Bryant: I don't know Byrant too well, but I can say I know him well enough to tell that he is a decent trooper. He follows orders and has his head on straight, that's all I can ask.

Jackie Knoxx: From what I've seen she isn't MI material, in the sense that she isn't a team player and questions orders. She seems to just be full of sass and had no regard for rank or experience. She is going to become hated by more and more MI and it will catch up to her.

Aphelion Dominica: The apprently no nonses, super litteral, trooper who loves her flamethrower. Apparently I don't know how to use a flamethower, even though I have used it for many months with no problem. In short she seems to have a distain for me, and I am willing to return the feeling.

Mason Lexious: Corporal Lex is a decent man and we get along, which is a relief. We met in Ukraine when he was a Lance or PFC and we've talked on and off since. We get along which is good and he seems to want to learn how to use the flamethrower from me. If/when I become an NCO or get permissions, I will teach him.

Nikolai Dimov: Sergeant Major Dimov, a sight for sore eyes. Glad to see he is back in action, though he seems to be rarely in the action. We've talked a few times, stuff seems to still be good between us.
    --[[Federation Engineering Division]]--

William St. Claire: I've fought under and with Claire a few times now, and he seems to be a semi-competent leader. From what I can tell he has his head on relatively straight, but sometimes stuff slips through the cracks of his NCO armor. We haven't talked too much still, but he did train me on the new auto-shotgun, AKA The Belcher. I do support his punishment of Knoxx though.

Ashley Rose: I don't really know much about Master Specialist Rose, apart from she is one of the "new" engineers and that she trained a Private in the ways of the M55. We will see if anything changes.

    --[[Federation Marauders]]--

Joshua Edwards: One of the very few Marauders I have talked to, I have to say he is a pretty nice guy. We get along pretty well and we seem to have each others backs. I would consider him a budding friend, and it may even become a good blood brother relationship. Either way, I've got his back and I trust him to have mine, maybe we'll get the Marauders and the MI started on treating each other better, but that is just a wild dream.

(What I think of every time I see his stupid name)

    Spoiler

Luca Cocchiola: I've seen this marauder drop a few times and he seems to be learning fast. Not much to say about that, save for the bit of distrust I have for someone who came from Sanctuary.

    Franco
Sorrentino: Franco is... a very competent man, who has various qualities that make him a  good leader. He has moved up while I was away, obtaining the rank of Captain and then becoming a PF. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't proud of him.

    --[[KIA/MIA]]--

Mia Krautstag: She's dead, along with most others who were unlucky enough to not be evaced. I'm sorry Mom, we failed. We will get revenge, for all of Terra!

Yumi: I didn't know you too well, but you seemed like a sweet girl. While the past is the past, your memory will live on.

Gastubashi: Apparently Gastu died a while back, before I rejoined the 112th. It's a damn shame as she was a fantastic engineer and a good person, and easy on the eyes as well. Hopefully these new engineers will follow in her footsteps and do their best, they have some large shoes to fill.

    Backstory:

    Spoiler

Luca was born into an Italian family upon the colony world of Ravenna. His family is one of proud military tradition, dating back many centuries. Growing up, Luca was told many stories from his father and grandfather about their time in the military as well as the countless stories about his many other military relatives. At a young age Luca's father strived for Luca and his brother, Matteo, to carry on the family tradition and join the MI. This lead the two to be sent to more military focused schools, which were in abundance on Ravenna. Along with these schools, his father and grandfather would "train" them, setting up small obstacles courses around their property. But Luca was not interested in joining the military, as his father and grandfather wanted. Instead he, and Matteo, wanted to live simple, quiet lives. Around the age of sixteen, disaster struck Ravenna, as it was plunged into a civil war. For many years Anti-Federation rebels had be planning, waiting for the best time to strike. When it did come time, they struck fast and hard, knocking out the MI garrisons quickly and seizing power of a good portion of the planet. As the fighting began to spread, Luca and Matteo were pressed into a small militia of people from his town. Together, they did their best to hold off the rebel armies for as long as possible. Unfortunately, a group of generally untrained militia is no match for a large army who has most of the firepower of the planet on their side. Luckily, for the Pro-Federation forces of Ravenna, Federation forces arrived and began to help push back the separatists. Around this time, during a daring guerrilla raid on a rebel held fort, Matteo was killed. Luca, although not witnessing his death firsthand, found his body later, among many other dead militia soldiers. While broken by the death of his beloved brother, something sparked inside of Luca. As he returned home he stopped by the recruitment station the MI had set up and joined. He may not have been able to save Matteo, but he could at least avenge his death and try and protect others from suffering through similar events.

After joining up with the MI, Luca was stationed at Sanctuary. Seeing Admiral O'Brien sieze command and execute a slew of officers, Luca knew he had to get out as soon as possible. As the 112th broke from their lobby prison, Luca joined up with them and helped them escape, gunning down those who he had worked with for months.

Charles McCulloch: Charles and I both joined up with the 112th from Sanctuary. We were in the same training unit and I've talked to him a bit. He's a decent guy, and I'm sure we will get to know each other better without O'Brien breathing down our necks.
Joshua Edwards: Edwards is the one who has trained me, so obviously I look up to him.  We get along and I can see us becoming pals quickly.

Joshua Caine: I've met Caine once or twice, and he seems like a relatively nice guy. He seconded my nick name of "Hot Cocoa", so I can thank him and Zella for making me feel more at home quickly.

Zella Dijkstra: Ive talked to Zella once or twice and she seems pretty nice. She talks really really fast so it has taken me a bit to get to understand her. I still have a ways to go, but it is becoming easierShe is also the one who gave me the nick name "Hot Cocoa."

Daisy Bailey: She is our marauder lieutenant. She gave Charles and I the opening tour but we didn't really talk much. From what I have heard about her she is very very good at her job. I respect that and hope that I can impress her and live up to her standards.

  3. I think this would be pretty cool, but there are some problems. As Ryu said, we already have FedNet broadcasters, but since that is purely the admin team, it would be nice to have some maybe novice journalists in the field. I think the "cameraman/women characters always seem to die in the field" problem could be counteracted or at least nullified to some extent by giving the Journalists MI training. Since we also have helmet cams, it is possible that a more improved news worthy version could be developed and handed out. There are a few small problems, but most of those can easily be fleshed out and really aren't worth mentioning. I am all for this idea.
