The shouts of the troopers could be heard and the screeches of the Arachnids could be heard off, far away.. But they closed in. "The Marauders; the men and women in the large suit of AEGIS armor hauled their massive guns to the centre of our defenses. The Combat Engineers set and mounted themselves on their emplacements, loading up their machine guns. The Arachnids were close, just silhouettes could seen, action was coming." The silence stopped with a Specialist Drivas' yelling voice. "They're HERE!". Followed by a deafening volley of gunshots clashing against a bone-like plate; a screeching of an Arachnid filled the volume track. "They're here.. Like a plague, they spread. Crawling towards the defenses of First Platoon. A hail of gunfire rung into my ears, once more. The Arachnids pushed and pushed, inching their way closer towards the killzone of the Mobile Infantry, only to be gunned down." "And then... " "Known as a tanker, the Arachnid decided to send in their flaming tank. If this thing got close to the defenses, the infantry's chances of survival would drop.. And so it did.. Even in it's death, the damage was already done. The swarms of Arachnid did not stop, they did not halt; they merely continued their assault even after their death weapon had fallen." Several cuts of shots from the bunker, the camera shakes for some time before panning towards the burning forest line. A silhouette of a large beast rampaging towards the defenses through the flames. "The arachnids sent us their all. The ultimate heavy unit of the Arachnid caste, the Royal appeared. .But it was no match for First Platoon's power." The blasts roared, shook the camera rattling it's focus as the feed shuts off for a mere second before the screen cuts to a flaming wasteland, littered with arachnid corpses. The screen cuts and fades to the aftermath of the explosion, still blazing several piles of arachnid corpses as a marauder stands infront of the camera. "Alexander Torres: I love the smell of roasted bug in the evening! It's beautiful! Nothing can stop us!" "First Platoon's Objective was completed and that loaded up and left Planet [CENSORED]. We encountered several tankers and royals during our search, we found the HIVE and had no choice but to form a small team to drive the APC with the explosive payload to deep inside of the HIVE. Valentine, Hawke, Asper and Cpt. Jeffrey Collins Jr. of the 68th. A rock crashed on the APC and damaged the timer, it was forced to activate manually. The Captain felt strongly about staying, he made the sacrifice to his planet.. Bastards backtraced after exiting the hive's entrance, a swarm of leftover warriors attacked us and an unknown trooper clipped the Lieutenant Colonel. The weather conditions were brutal, even when we departed from the FOB. During patrols, we were coming under fire from one of the backends of the neighborhood we were patroling, we unmounted and heading to search the street. We were met with several APCs on the street, they were quickly taken care of. We held our position in a two story home, fighting off several waves of armed rioters. They had access to several types of armor, ranging from light to medium armor and airsupport like a transport helicopter armed with small miniguns. The forces eventually died off and we extraction from the AO.

We ended into a underground bunker, like a maze and cleared everything out. At the entrance, we found a dead woman with a PDA on her, we took both with us when we extracted. HEAT signatures were found outside of the base we were told to chase after them, we had trouble heading out of the bunker due to C4 placements. In the end, we setted the charges the the HEAT signatures got away.

Once we got to the Dam, we gotten support by GOLF, they cleared the majority of the arachnids from hitting the dam, once the water systems were checked and deem in working order, we called in our relief platoon and we extracted.

We encountered several talon bearing human corpses that seem to be morphing into these meta-arachnids and we purge them without much delay. We encountered a life signal from the south, inside of a bunker that had double seal doors, that didn't seem like they were opened for some time. Inside, we discovered an individual with a gunshot wound to the head. We suspected this individual was CB'd, but the evidence pointed towards he was fine; his body wasn't turning and psychics have touched him. The medical staff fixed him up and we EVAC'd along with him.
