We took care of the plasma's earlier than we expected, we headed towards the ship using the left side of the hill for cover as we buried a few bug holes along the way. We made it inside of the ship, after having a brief encounter with the Captain via radio. We noticed a buggy at the entrance of a makeshift rope, at the time it didn't seem too strange; looking back on it, it was a big red flag. MOBCOMM informed us that they lost contact with the Captain of the cargo ship and it was quick to assume CB's. After a few bodies showing up and a man with familiar voice ringing to our ears, it proved it was not the case. We secured the material we were looking for on the bridge of the ship and made a few efforts of finding this individual, but our efforts came up short and the suspect managed to escape. We extracted soon after.

We were to hold off at an FOB nearby. Along the way towards the FOB, we were swarmed by bugs, we suffered setbacks like Private First Class Gomez being ripped apart at a nearby bug hole, we continued on towards the FOB trying to get him a safe place to treat him, but his wounds were abit too much for the Private to handle and he succumbed to his wounds. Staff Sergeant Asper assumed command and we continued on with our mission. We had a few injuries along the way, Private Kazuya losing his right hand and Private First Class Olsen receiving a talon stab to the thigh. Once we got ourselves to the FOB, it was smooth sailing from there. Killing a few tankers and a plasma bug with the help of a TON once 2nd, 3rd, and 4th platoon were out of the blast range.
