  1. They work nicely! My only grievance is that the TAC have too much health. It's hard to perform a dogfight when it's nigh impossible to shoot the enemy down.
  2. I can't wait to finally try these badboys out!
  3. Is it possible to rig these things to explode?
  4. 1: Rate the current state of "Internal Security" on a rate of 1-5. [2] 2: In your own words, what's the purpose of Internal Security? To act as a form of military police, as well as onboard vessel defense. 3: What are the strengths and weaknesses of Internal Security? Strength: Useful for escort of high ranking officers. Defending the bridge during a boarding. Weaknesses: Not much draw toward the division. NCO's do most of the discipline and not much incentive is offered to join. 4: What are the major problems facing the division? Redundancy. Since the MI are basically marines, the actual marines have to find a way to be unique. 5: What do you suggest that can improve the faction, make it more enjoyable? Have NCO's discipline less and use marines more. Have more active marine players. Work more closely with Fleet. 6: Anything else you wish to add? (Put anything here): It's an interesting division that needs to find it's jive once more!

  6. Neither am I really. There's a hell of a lot of information in those core books. And that's just one. There's several more. So I feel you there.
  7. That was just the default for saying that women had the same rights as men. The UCF does discriminate along gender lines in certain areas though. Women are promoted much more frequently than men in the Fleet- by design. Federal studies prove that women are typically more dexterous and mathematically gifted than men. Thus women are given first choice of command before a man, unless he's really exceptional. I agree. The core book mentions nothing of prostitution, but considering that the moral decline of the pre-Federation world is one of the primary reasons why the Federation claims the old-world collapsed probably doesn't bode well for it as a practice. They are. Only illegal casinos are outlawed. They are. That was an error. I thought I had selected equal rights, but I must have hit the wrong thing. Same with the trannsexuals. You have to be careful with pre-Federation laws. Not many of them survived. Many forms of narcotic simply died out during the disorders, along with their producers. There wasn't enough land to grow the food on, let alone a plot of land to grow weed. It may also be worth mentioning that various forms of sport no longer exist. For example; Golf, Soccer and horse racing are all examples of sports that died out and are no longer played in the Federation.

Page 52 is where the real meat of the Federation government gets covered.

  10. Do we have any info on its judicial system?
  11. It's my understanding that the spending ratios are public vs. private funding. I.e... the Federation provides health care free of charge to every person, regardless of citizenship. However there are privately provided health care options for citizens and wealthy non-citizens. 50% equals how much the Federation provides as opposed to how much is private. Ultimately, like Deckers said, the finances aren't canon to the Federation. It is simply to the limit of what the simulator allowed. The Federation brings in a lot more than what is listed here.
  12. No worries. It's not totally accurate in itself. I'm no economist. The basic gist is: The Federal government participates highly in its economy. While there is private ownership, certain things such as FEDNET are government owned and funded. Science is heavily funded and encouraged. Military is pretty much the center of the entire Federation and the cost of maintaining such a massive army is only possible by the Federation's government. The cost of maintaining just the Fleet alone would be out of the ken of any or even every other human colony combined.
  13. Sector info blocks the lower visuals when opened. Just use the bottom right bar graphs.
  14. I don't recall the book mentioning prostitution as being legal and considering the Federation comes down hard on crime, I imagine that it would result in jail time (for the pimp) because of the criminal impact it has. And fines on casinos are based on illegal institutions. A legal and certified casino would have no issue.
  15. This is essentially a rough draft of the Federation's political outlook based on what I know of the Federation's social policy. The simulator wasn't ideal, as it didn't offer all the options the Federation possess (ie. Voting restricted to Veterans) But it was close. The GDP:Spending ratio is way out of the realm of stability, but the concept of GDP in an absolute government that governs the entirety of the Human race is obsolete anyway..
  16. Sorry Deck. Been busy writing things up for Fleet.
  17. Looks like you're in need of the services of Benjamin Clarke, Esquire. Attorney at Law.
