Miranda grew up on the agricultural world of Bellonia and joined up with the Mobile Infantry when rationing was putting a strain on herself and her family.
Although she was an only child she had many close cousins and lived in a rather tight knit community, putting an even further strain on food and such.

He's a corporal just like me now and Gargano although he is much more experienced then me.
Stan Henderson: Henderson is a new guy, newer than my green ass but he's been reliable on drops and a good fella to talk to, when I do see him that is.
Jackie Knoxx: Fun girl, knocked me flat on my ass during a sparring match. She was a bit... Unapproachable to begin with but now I'm warming up to her, pretty good company to have.
Miguel Lorenzo: Solid man to be around, has a thing for Carter which I find endlessly funny however he's been acting weird ever since that one drop, people are saying it's PTSD. I hope he can pull through this and live normally. I'm sure all of us want the old Lorenzo back.
Franklyn Holland: Smart man, took control of a squad when no one was up to it, and he's climbing up the the ranks fast and he's uh... Interesting to talk to, to say the least.
Franco Sorrentino: One hell of a leader, not much to say about him. Guess he's kinda like a mentor figure for me since Finch's gone. Really likes whiskey apparently, always is in the bar taking entire bottles of the stuff.
Sebastian Bently: Haven't talked to him much one on one before, aside from him ordering drinks, but the one time I did I was about to spar with Hayes and he said he liked me and I hoped I won. Granted I got my shit pushed in but hey, it's the thought that counts right? Seems like a capable man out on the field although haven't seen much of him in a leading position I don't think.
Jennifer Hayes: Seen her around a bit, don't think I talked to her much either now that I think about it. The one time I've talked to her was when she beat the absolute shit our of me in a sparring match, didn't even get a hit in. Although I cant really remember what she said to me since I was in a bit of a daze.
Noah Gargano: I've talked to him on the ship before a couple of times, we even tried to tackle Sigrun and it "kinda" worked, although he did get crushed a small bit. Haven't seen him much on the field now that I think about it, or really talked to him personally besides some usual bar shit talk.
Reuben Amukama: I've seen him around the ship and on the field several times, sometimes I saw too much of him when he went streaking around the ship. Seems to be easily... Agitated? Sure let's go with that.
Gary "Gaz" Johnson: Only met him once at the bar, seems to have a bit of an ego and overconfidence issue, he keeps going on like that i'm going to have to keep making fun oh him for it. Seems to think he's hot shit and women wants him, fucking hell not even the tide would take him out. *Indistinct talking* Yes I know I used that joke before but fuck you I made it and I'll use it as much as I want.
Miranda Waters: What's the fucking chance that someone has nearly the same name as me and serves on the exact same ship as me.
Devin Saiphan: Pretty chill guy to hang around with, has a uh... Fetish for burning things to an almost suspect degree but oh well, everyone has their hobbies right?
Alex Parker: DMR specialist, he's a pretty good shot and i'm glad to have him looking over me and my team on the ground when he can, think he wants to bang Carter too. Go get him Carter.
Helena Clenmore: Really sweet girl, first met her when she got her leg blown off by a Sanctuary grenade and have been talking to her since. She's reliable to have on a squad, hope she can find her parents soon to put her mind at ease about that.
--[[Federation Engineering Division]]-- Lyndsey Carter: Without a doubt one of the closest friends I have on this ship, one of the first people I've met on the Grant. She's awkward sometimes but she's been the most supportive person I've ever met and I'm glad to have her around. She's had a few close calls and I hope she sticks around with me for a long time to come.
Troy Hughes: Never really talked to him on the ship or so, seen him on the field but never really talked to him besides a handful of situations on the field I believe, he's a corporal just like me but that's it at the moment.
Travis Young: I've talked to him a bit as I tend the bar every now and then, although he's very distant most of the time, can't really get an idea of who he is as a person. Must have been through some shit, it seems like most of the NCO's and Officers seem to carry some kinda luggage.
Kyle O'Reilly: Pretty alright dude, little bit excitable for my liking but everyone has a few quirks to them right? Talked to him a few times already and he seems fine.
William Saint-Claire: Honestly haven't talked to him outside of combat drops, he's another engineer so it's good to see that bloated militia has some more members just tucked away in the air vents or some shit. He seems to be an older member from back in the day before I came to the 112th, it's gotta be weird to come back and nearly everyone you've known is gone.

- --[[Federation Hospital Corps]]-- Alicia White: She's a combat medic I've seen on the front, I respect the way she keeps so calm after seeing an injury and tends to people as if it's second nature to her, well since it's her job it probably is. Hell, when I try to give someone first aid I get all panicky and my legs feel heavy. She's good to have around in a pinch.
Jessica Read: New medic assigned to the 112th, she seems really nice and what not but I haven't talked to her much as of yet, i'll probably see her around more often now, good thing to have more medics around in my opinion.

Odd how the last time we talked I talked about replacing you, kinda foreboding in a way huh? Stay safe Sergeant hope to see you alive and kicking when this is over.
Miguel Lorenzo: He was a nice enough guy when I first met him, but after that one drop where Finch got court martialed he's just a bit odd now. He doesn't talk as much anymore and he seems like he's distancing himself from everyone. I hope he sorts out what he's dealing with.
Dead and gone, dead and gone. It's a real damn shame, never really talked to him after that one drop that changed him. Last I saw of him he was trying to comfort Carter when she got some bad news about her parents, saw the old Lorenzo come back for the briefest moment there. Rest easy Lorenzo, you did your best and you will be missed. -
