  2. Right. To save time and having a billion people asking for their purple hearts at the award ceremony. ICly, they'll be awarded during your characters stay in hospital/medbay. However, only if it meets the following criteria. The Purple Heart is awarded to any trooper who, during active combat, received any injury ranging from serious (mild disfiguration, scarring, et cetera) to severe/critical (limb or extremity loss, organ rupture, et cetera). As such, it is one of the most commonly awarded medals within the Mobile Infantry; often, a trooper displays their veterancy more so through the amount of star clusters on their Purple Heart than through a Veterancy Ribbon. Any questions, feel free to comment.

  5. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >> To: Company A., 112th Mobile Infantry, 6th Fleet>> Subject: Company Address - Invasion of Shoreridge III>> Priority: ROUTINE>> Restriction: RESTRICTED>> Sender: 2Lt. Kowalski M. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Addressed to; Troopers, Company A. Attention Troopers of Company A. 112th Mobile Infantry. Today, we conducted an assault on what was left of the enemy forces in the Capitol of Shoreridge III. In a matter of fifteen minutes, members of One Platoon stood in the lair of the planetary Governor and the flag of the Sixth fleet was raised above it. A major victory for Sixth Fleet forces. Now we're tasked with handling the disarmament of remaining Draconian forces who wish to surrender. A job many of you may dislike, however it must be done. -- Although, this victory has not come without a price. We've lost a lot of good troopers, friends, family and most importantly, fellow apes. Below is a list of the deceased from Company A. Upon returning to Grant, a ceremony will be held, commemorating these troopers. Do not forget these men and women. -- They fought beside you and died fighting, not because they were told to, but because their brothers and sisters were fighting beside them. You might not have known these troopers personally, but they're M.I. and M.I. never leave their own behind. -- Do not let their efforts go un-triumphed, all died heroes and that's how they will be remembered. It is my duty to remind you however, we still have a war to win. Don't let the Mobile Infantry down. Now's not the time to join them. Stay on the bounce, keep your heads up and keep the ape next to you alive... Live forever Apes. Second Lieutenant Mikayla Kowalski, Acting Company Commander, Company A. 112th Mobile Infantry.
