Nibba is you Grimm? Don't worry, I'll update Freedom eventually. The new forum doesn't like my old forum format so I'll have to do edits on my comp.

Maybe? I honestly couldn't tell you, I've had this character for years but I tend to forget. For example, when I "first started playing" on .net in October, turns out I had played for a few weeks right when Xal started up this .net in May. So I dunno, I suppose it's always possible. I smoked a lot of pot back then lmao.

Despite not knowing who his biological father was, DeShawn’s mother told him stories of the man, claiming that he was an Infantryman and a great leader of soldiers to her understanding. From an early age, Momma Biggums ensured that all of her boys (Ralph, Jamal, Bubba, DeShawn, Jafreese, & Bobby) understood the importance of family bonds being that only Jamal and DeShawn came from the same father while the other four were half-brothers, with the exception of Bobby who was adopted from a white family as a newborn. Despite not sharing the same blood entirely, the brothers loved, cared for, and looked after one another, with the young Ralph being a surrogate father figure despite only being 5 years older than his younger brothers. From an early age, though, it became clear that DeShawn was destined to be something special; it was discovered early on by Momma Biggums that her fourth youngest child possessed a genius level IQ of nearly 142 with a projected cap of 148. However, DeShawn refused to act or allow himself to feel superior in any aspect to any of his brothers or anyone he came into contact with. It was because of this defiant motivation that by the age of 7, DeShawn had already established himself as a strong leader with selfless values and a cherub like demeanor, attributes which he would retain into adulthood.{: Service Info :}Serial: 226-120-843.Branch: Mobile Infantry - Command Staff (XO).Platoon: 112th.Rank: Second LieutenantTraining: Most covered in black tapeAspirations: Wouldn’t you like to know{: Family :}- Momma Biggums | Mother - Civilian

Now don’t get me wrong, the chick is gorgeous and who doesn’t like having their features complimented by beautiful women. But do I have romantic feelings for her? Come on, I’m from Louisiana, not Mississippi. I took her under my wing because I saw potential in her and felt that I could help her reach that potential. I got looked at weird, had my judgement called into question, received ridicule for assumptions that I only selected her based on some romantic feelings existing between the two of us. Well Pop, people may wish we were together romantically, but you and I both know that we are more siblings than lovers, more brother and sister than boyfriend and girlfriend, and that is how I know we would both intend it to stay. I consider you one of my own flesh and blood relatives, and you are one of the rare few that I can honestly say I trust with my life if there ever comes a time again when I might seriously bite the dust. I love ya Pop.Haerne Simonovich: The English, Slavic papa himself. You were the first one to welcome me to the Murph’ and the first to genuinely show me respect in the unit. For that, I have been more grateful than you could ever know. I’ve heard some things, been told some things, and been warned about some things, but I’m going to make it pretty damn clear that I don’t give a Gator’s scrotum what you’ve done in the past. You’re a damn good leader, and I consider you a good friend even though we haven’t had much time to talk to one another. You may not know it, but you’re like the white, Slavic, barely-older-than-me father figure I’ve always (or never) wanted. For that, I look up to you more than anyone on this ship and it is your respect that I value the most. I have no doubts I will continue making you proud, el-tee, but if there ever comes a time where that is brought into question, I expect you to be the one to slap some sense into my black ass. Just learned that Delatorre got retired while I was training a new Staff Sergeant over in Second Platoon and that you'll most likely be taking over as Company CO. God damn proud of you, boss man. I can't think of anyone more capable or more deserving than you to take over. I just hope you getting bumped up doesn't eliminate our chances to drink rum and listen to Gangsta Grass though.Valentina Pacheco: I can’t rightly say I’ve ever come across a white woman who seems to hold the same values that Momma taught my brothers and I back on the bayou, but Pach is pretty damn close. People call her the Mother Duck, and I can see why. I may not take some of your advice to heart, Sarge, but you best be damn sure that I listen when you speak and I hear what you say, regardless of whether or not I decide to follow it. I trust you plenty, and I hope you trust me; the respect I have for you comes from your confidence in yourself, and for that I look up to you in some small amount. You’ve been nothing but friendly to me, but I hope that in the long run you will tell me if I fuck up. You’re the only person I haven’t talked to yet about Nass… and I know I should. Especially since it almost seems like you’re changing following her untimely death.John Freeson: My main man J. I called you ignorant on the first drop when you started speaking in Ebonics to me, but after sitting down and talking with you, finding out you’re from the projects of Atlanta, I dropped that shit right quick. You’re my dog, probably one of the few I’d call a good friend on the Murph... even if you did run off and join the Big Metal Pussy Brigade *chuckle*.Kenneth Harrell: Ken is an…Interesting case. He could act like your best friend one moment and your most loathsome colleague the next. He’s seen a lot, he hasn’t talked about a lot, and he’s thus bottled up a lot. To me that’s a very volatile combination for a good trooper, but what do I know, I just work here. We’ve had some friendly times and I have a good amount of respect for the guy as a competent medic. But his emotional instabilities can be very taxing and I wish he would just find someone to talk to about his issues instead of just bottling them up and taking them out on others through a bad attitude. I could see us becoming good friends at some point, though.Felix Krautstag: Haven’t gotten to talk or hang out with you much outside of the field, Kraut. But from what I’ve seen you’re alright in my book, and a damn good trooper to have around when shit hits. Damn glad we didn’t lose you in that shitstorm recently.Aaron Holtz: I don’t know you as well as I feel like I should, so maybe my personal judgements have been unfair. I guess the long and short of it is that I disagree with your egotism, my man. It’s nothing personal, just a confliction of our personal opinions and values. I’ve been through enough shit myself to be as conceited or edgy as anyone, but frankly I prefer to keep it to myself. Do I demand you do the same? Absolutely not, I can still have respect for you even if I see some traits as unsavory. I guess I just wish you’d show a little humility and act less like you’re the only one who has dealt with bad shit. Perceivably bad things aside, I would like to get to know you better and maybe even become friends once you stop with all the emotional shit.Samuel Cronk: Haven’t gotten to spend much personal time with ya, but you listen well and you can shoot the shit I tell you to even better, so you’re alright by me for sure. I much prefer to call you Lever… I can’t rightly say why, just seems like a hunch, a necessity… Ah well.Gabriel Logan: And another interesting case. Much like Harrell, this one seems to like to bottle up his true opinions on people and situations, but far differently than the former. Logan is a good soldier at heart, and while I have a feeling he has some lack of respect for me, that just makes it all the more important to me that I earn that respect back. One of these days I’ll get him to tell me why he doesn’t like me, but for now I’m content with just trying to be friendly to the guy.Aphelion Dominica: The Preacher, or Preach as I started calling her almost immediately. It’s appropriate that the nickname stuck with all the shouting from the book this girl does. Her head seems to be in the clouds constantly, but I can’t rightly say that’s always a bad thing, especially in this line of work; only when she disobeys orders and wanders around instead does it become problematic. Thus far though, she hasn’t given me much of a specific reason to dislike her. Only my ears when she shouts her litanies into the radio.Franco Sorrentino: Another I don't really know too well, but from the few times I've interacted with him, he seems like an alright dude. Holtz was so insistent on knowing him that he wanted to tell everyone, so honestly I kind of fucked off until the reminiscing had died down. From what I've seen, he fucks around quite a bit, but once we're in the shit he listens. That makes him plenty alright in my book, can never have enough people who are good at following orders and not bitching about 'em.Oskar Stellvertreter: Here's one I don't know, and not entirely sure if I want to know better. Don't misinterpret, I don't mean I have no interest. I more mean that the lack of knowing about this guy is more than likely due to the fact that he is a deputy, and that just means he is doing his job right. Damned if he doesn't make a good cup of joe though... and I barely even like coffee.James Lerwick: The big dog with a boom. I don't know much about him personally... In fact I can't recall any instances where we've actually spoken outside of a professional setting, but he blows shit up well and he seems like a damn good leader. For that, he has a large amount of respect from me. Especially with how I frequently say the Engineers seem to multiply like rabbits...can't imagine the patience it takes to babysit a bunch of children with explosives *chuckle*.Donald Mcgroomer: I'd say Donny is probably one of the more openly friendly Marines/Deputies I've come across, I'd assume in no small part due to the fact that a lot of us knew him when he was still slogging it with the regular infantry. I don't know much about the guy, only had the chance to hang out with him a few times, but he seems friendly enough and from the drops I've been on with him, he seems like he listens well enough as well. He's good in my book.Anton Volker: Here is one I'd like to get to know better outside of barking orders to him. He seems like a good dude and he certainly gets the jobs done when I give them to him. He is going to make a helluva Corporal one of these days, and Lord knows we need competent NCOs.Victor Von Klauster: He's made some mistakes in the field and will occasionally do some unsavory things with the leadership responsibilities he is given, but he still has promise and I'd be lying if I said he wasn't getting better. Slowly, sure, but better nonetheless. He seems to be a pretty funny and friendly guy around the ship, we spoke in German for a little while once which was cool. Overall though, not someone I'd call myself overly familiar with... kind of like most of the folks on this boat.Aiden O'Farrell: Another one of the marauders. Well... that's not entirely fair to say. I generally don't have a whole lot of respect for marauders, but this one seems to be alright. I've never had an issue with him professionally or personally, a fact which I guess I'm grateful for. In general, he listens slightly better than most of the other marauders and he gets shit done. I still need to have him moderately poke some people in the chest though, but...he's Irish... I think even a moderate poke might make someone explode.Niles Roesler: A spook who to me isn't so... spooky. He was present during my discussion with Simonovich in order to monitor my psychological feelings, and the more I think about it, the more I appreciate and respect that he asked before doing anything he deemed to be invasive. Through experiencing what I went through mentally during Nasser's death, he may be the only person on the ship currently who knows and understands exactly how I feel. I'm normally not one for trying to become friends with the spooks but... this one seems different. Who knows, maybe one of these days once we take the time to sit down and talk on a personal level.Seth Drolland: He seems like a good dude, can be funny sometimes. But his jokes are generally bordering on disrespectful and irritating if I'm being honest with how I feel about 'em. He's a good medic though, seems to always want to help, but I think maybe deep down he wants us to thank him for doing little more than his job. That is of course just an assumption, but for the most part he is an alright guy, and definitely a good one to have in a tight spot if he doesn't chat shit and just does his job. We need good medics more than ever, and this guy has the potential to be a great one.Noemi 'Tidbit' Rosangela: Ya know, I'm not even going to go with what has already become the cliche and mention her height. Far as I'm concerned, even if she joined up at an illegal age, she still joined up. For that she has earned some respect from me. However, I think her mind wanders too much and she almost emotionally relies on people to a point that it is worrisome. She may act like a child, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't like the girl. She's short as shit, but she seems to have genuine heart, and for that I consider her very valuable in terms of morale. This one is impossible to stay mad at even if I wanted to.Maria Catrambone: This one is... difficult to put a finger on. She knew my name long before I ever knew hers, which I suppose isn't a bad thing unless you're like me and want to know the names of every new face which comes aboard the Murph at this stage. However, she has made a good first impression on me. She is a bit odd, sure, but she seems to genuinely want to understand me as a person as well as being openly friendly without any kind of 'ass kissing' intent. I think I'd like to get to know her better, she seems genuinely predisposed to greet me and ask how I'm doing, and for that I think at some point we could be good friends. Lord knows I need 'em...Robert Shaw: Major Robert "Ol' Titanium Balls" Shaw. You were in the upper echelon when I arrived and so we didn't have much time to talk, but respecting you from afair has come very easily to me, especially as of late. You're a damn fine leader and one I could say now I would gladly follow to the Gates of Hell and back. I still owe you those drinks come to think of it...Irving Bush Jr.: My main man Irv. Low key this man gives the flyest fade haircuts in the entire Federation. Quite possibly one of the chillest motha fuckas alive if I'm being honest. Heard he just became a grandpa too, so that's some wonderful shit. He's finna have some fresh ass grandbabies walking around so long as grandpapa Irving chops their flow. So much respect and trust for this man.WIP
