  1. Updated relationships. Feel free to ask for relationship additions or even to point out some grammatical stuff I missed (and probably inconsistencies)
  2. It does feel dragged and the problems i have is A. Not enough character actions outside of maybe some ncos or officers. B. Feel like we are the exact same status as the grant but with an arguably better ship. C. Having to explain the lore to new players is difficult cause they expected to hop in, be a new boot camp rookie fighting for the feds when instead you have to explain the extended lore and make it mandatory which isn’t something many would be willing to look up (plus new players seem to dislike the current story based on the often basic explanations given). I felt like more could of been expanded on the story line or been better but I feel like we had the build up and the end but no real long lasting aftermath

  4. Just keep truckin'...Never said I was orginial. " " - Lance corporal Mathew Krauw Basic Information Name: Mathew Joseph Krauw Place of Birth: Michigan, United States, Earth Date of Birth: May 23rd, 2263 Age: 36 Gender: Male Height: 5'11" Physical Description: Weight: 167 lbs Hair colour: Brown Eye colour: Brown Military Information Rank: Lance Corporal Branch: Mobile infantry Date of Enlistment: February 17th, 2286 Years of Service: Ten years of service including two years of training prior Service Record: Personal Information Family: Joseph Krauw (father), Francis Krauw (mother), Ryan Krauw (younger brother), Margret Krauw (Eldest sibling), Julie Krauw (Older sister) Backstory: Born in the state of Michigan in what was the United States of America, Mathew Krauw was born in a relatively lower income family. His father, Joseph Krauw, owned arelatively small farm whilst his mother, Francis Krauw helped with the selling of the various goods the farm would make and provide for the nearby garrison of MI. The rest of his family included his little brother Ryan and his two older sisters Margret, and Julie Krauw who together helped run the farm. During this point in his life Mathew would gain various interests in the wildlife both within and outside the farm and found himself venturing off into the nearby woodlands when he decided that he did his share of labor for the day. While originally irritated by his sons constant neglect of his duties, Joseph decided to teach his son about the livestock in hopes that it would make him more willing to work with them. Later after this, his father managed to purchase a large patch of land from an old retired rancher out in the southwest when Mathew was nine years old. After the acquisition of the ranch in what was Utah the family income was on the up and up with more space for food production which brought more wealth to the house hold. Fast forward to when Mathew turned thirteen his father gifted him a basic hunting rifle and taught him how to hunt small to medium game. As the family gained more wealth, they were able to afford basic pleasures such as an old music player, movies, and other forms of entertainment which the four kids fought over. One important piece of entertainment that they picked up was a basic guitar. Francis soon found herself in a musically teaching position, giving lessons to each of the children with only Julie and Mathew picking up interest. After a while the family began picking up machines that helped automate the farm which gave more relaxation periods. Mathew learned forms of drawing from Margret and constantly took his brother out into the field to play various sporting games. Soon enough all of the children except the youngest Ryan were off to college with Mathew going into wild life preservation, Julie into the chemical engineering field, and Margret as an artist. Mathew after graduating with average grades soon found himself a park ranger at the Moab arches national park in Moab, Utah. He would occasionally make rotations to other parks including dinosaur national monument, the badlands, and other nature preserves but was predominately stationed at moab. However after three years of working at the park system, enjoying the wonders of they possessed, he would have to abandon the parks and be apart of the mass exodus of earth as the Progenitors invaded. The Krauw family being apart of the farming district system were sent to Roku San initially as refugee workers. Mathew Krauw wanting to retake his home for his family along with liberating the wilderness he loved second to his family enlisted into the mobile infantry as a standard foot soldier at age twenty six. Since his training he has taken part in various battles with the 112th predominately during the ladder half of the civil war in which he was apart of the force that helped reclaim sanctuary and ultimately reunite the federation. One of the last conflict he would partake with the 112th before being transferred to a support unit was the retaking of Pluto. In the time he has spent with the unit he gained the rank of Lance corporal only for that rank to be stripped due to a disagreement with a commanding officer in his new unit during the battle for earth. Yet despite reclaiming earth, the parks he used to roam were nothing more but barren, desolate, plots of land with all life stripped from it. Not seeing any other options he remained in the MI and made a special request to be transferred back to the 112th. Through a long and tedious process he was able to rejoin with the unit only to be branded a traitor some months after joining. Now he is on the run with the rest of the 112th going into the far reaches of space in hopes of finding refuge and defending the colonies which were out of federation influence. Characteristics: A strong upper body with above average lower body. Enjoys long treks into the wilderness and often when there isn't combat just stares into the local wilderness on drops. During RnR hes often found making basic drawings of the surroundings or playing his guitar. Prides in his strength, he often tries to keep himself in good physical condition. Strengths & Weaknesses: - Strengths: Strong and sturdy. More accustomed to animals. Generally easy to work with. Good with a guitar and has basic art skills. Rather good shot with the standard rifle but has some gun slinging skills with small side arms. Decent at wrangling and grappling from past experience controlling livestock. Loyal to his family and a patriot to his place of origin. - Weaknesses: While having some resistance to psychic attacks it still proves to a relevant issue, finds it difficult to work under pressure. Lower body not as well build as the upper body leading to more chances of being incapacitated in battle due to leg or hip injuries. His loyalty can often put him into tricky situations and moral dilemmas (One of which ended up branding him a traitor) Other Information: "Figured I'd chime in at this point. And yes this IS an audio recordin' so bare with me 'ere. As a little bit of some bonus I figured I'd talk 'bout my time with the crew. When I first got on board it was certainly an interestin' time what with the whole civil war goin' on and some rather peculiar folk on board. I'll try not to delve too deep into the swamp that is my career and time on ship but it's definitely a fun ride. Will say though that, as of late, it's been difficult. For a long while I was with this one support group meanin' I missed out on whatever it was my old crew were doin'. After goin' through the whole process I managed to make it back but...Everyone was gone... Not like the ship was empty just..I didn't recognize most of anyone. I later looked to the memorial wall and..Well..*audible sniff* safe to say my old partners were at higher pastures by then. Course not long after the sitiation went bad to total blow out when we were branded traitors and we had to book it to the outer reaches. Can't say I didn't expect somethin' crazy--units been known fer that.. But this is different. Im now stuck with few familiars and whole lotta fresh faces. Worse of all is..I'll never git to see my folks again. I haven't heard much of em since we got earth back and safe to say after we did take earth I'd just thought continue service till i'd retire back to the family farm if that's still 'round. Now plans have changed and all I can do now is hope that I can meld back into the crew and maybe one day make it home after we git done defendin' these folk out 'ere. * a deep sigh would be let out* I do miss my folks back home and I hope all of 'em are ok..Anyhow, I'ma call it fer now. Maybe I'll come back 'n add more but fer now I'll call it 'ere. Mathew Krauw signing out" Personal Relationships Friendly | Liked | Neutral | Disliked | Hated Friendly Alvaro Lupinacci: Pretty good guy I gotta say. Fun tah talk to and is great piano player. Still don't know him too well but hes definitely a friend in my books. Strattman (boy): Kids got some mad piano fingers. Never seen a fella play so fast and still sound good, was definitely a pleasure playin' with him though. Like most though I need tah talk to em more. St. Claire: Certainly somethin' alright. Pretty respectable and is really entertainin'. More humor on ship never hurt anyone right? Cait Donnovan: Nice gal. Certainly energetic, girl barely has a slow down ha ha. Didn't talk too too much back on the grant but any familiars to me are welcomed. Makes life 'ere a bit easy knowin' we still got wily people on board. Kyril Layland: Certainly was a surprise seein' him again. Got a rival in bein' the old man of the ship now ha ha. But in all seriousness it's good knowin' one of my original crew is still around and kickin' at that. Knoxx: Only recently been seein' 'er around the ship and man has the gal changed fer the better. I remember back in the day when she was on alotta folks shit list. But now she seems to have matured into a good NCO. Claire n' her make a good banter show. Liked Erkia Von Krieger: A lot of fleet seem to be rather nice 'round here. Sure beats my old support unit thats fer sure. Krieger is another fun german tah talk too albeit a bit quiet at times. Rodrick Oakwood: Since havin' to work closely with him on sims he seems like a generally respectable guy. He has the unit performance first in mind and honestly thats what I hope all NCOs have. He could probably make a great sergeant later. Who knows. Sebastian Bentley: What a trip alright. Remember back when we were relatively new enlists back on my first RnR. Funny shit that RnR too. We've butted heads back when he was just a fresh sergeant but I think it's behind us now. He's certainly grabbed the bull by the horns when he took the mantle especially recently with the whole mercenary song 'n dance. Guess we'll see if he can keep the situation wrangled, bet he will though. Tumas Tankijin: Like messin' with him on occasion. The fella is quite the smart ass so I usually bring up his callsign on occasion just tah get his goat. All in good fun though he's a good soldier and overall don't mind his company at all...Tankiepoo. Robert Shaw: As a former lead I gotta give respect to that. He's for sure a stand up guy, funny one at that. Fella' has some pipes too. *uptade to Shaw*: I must've been seein' things cause I just saw him as a colonel, Don't know where Bentley's gone so we'll have tah see where this goes Neutral Sarah Redbrick: Hard to say how I feel 'bout the corporal. On one hand she can be rather fun tah talk too but has given me hell in recent memory. Sometimes she seems like a competent leader while other times she seems questionable, usually on board. Probably just gotta work with her more. *update to redbrick*: Had some frustration with her on a drop and safe to say my patience is a bit wainin' Disliked Hated
