  1. What is this bullshit? For a start, Ultramarines would be the worst founding chapter to use as a base not least of all because they're based on the Romans. Sure, the whole "MANKIND EMPIRE" thing is part of their motif but they're a general shit-show of piss poor decisions that only amount to anything because they have fuck-off amounts of successor chapters that are all pointless and haven't ever done anything of note. Tactically, they are the embodiment of combined arms. Drop-pod in, roll around in boxes and pop out to shoot dudes when needed, then move on. That shit's boring and they're generic. It also leads into highlighting that absolutely none of the Founding chapters would be any good to use as an MI substitute. White Scars go fast on bike, brum brum. Dark Angels are secretive hush-hush dudes that go fast on bike or shock and awe whilst finding information that they may or may not need. Space Wolves just roam around picking fights and trying to be relevant with their favourite pet pugs and huskies. Imperial Fists sit in a fortification, shoot dudes and go "This is fine". Blood Angels wanna go fast but can't because they're too busy being occult and going nuts. Iron Hands sit inside vehicles and shoot dudes. Salamanders get stiff by burning things to a point where they're blacker than the Salamander himself. Raven Guard go in all sneaky-beaky like. So how can we fix your mistake of picking Roman McNormal Faction as the base? Simple. Read a book. Black Templars or Carcharodons. Both fit the colour scheme, so you don't need to homebrew one in MS paint. Black Templars get told to fuck shit up, go fuck shit up, do so with LARGE numbers of infantry in a zealous "YEAH KILL 'EM ALL" manner and don't rely on vehicles to do it. They just get dropped off, walk forwards and shoot dudes (Punching optional when within 1 metre). Shoot one of their dudes? They run forwards and squelch whatever it is against the nearest hard surface. Playing an event and one of your "friends" gets shot? BETTER CHARGE THE CORNER AND MOW DOWN THE ADMIN WHO SHOT MY FRIEND. Planet got some weird Tyranid infestation going on and the PDF is a shit-show? Better drop right into the middle of it all and just tear everything up with liberal use of explosives whilst fighting off that Carnifex, the Trygon Prime and the ooga booga Malanthrope by there. Bug event time? Better drop right into the middle of it all and just shoot everything that moves that isn't small and red with liberal use of explosives whilst fighting off that Tiger swarm, the Tanker and the ooga booga Royal that popped up by there. Squad mate got horribly mangled and murdered during a deployment and you're still in the campaign? Burst through the wall and point out in a friendly manner that their mistake doesn't have a return policy whilst using whatever mauled form of angsty rage that the Templar feels to propel themselves forwards faster than the enemy's vocal chords can react. Your buddy got ripped apart / shot to death / broken arm'd / otherwise murdered in an event? Better either A) Not care and carry on as normal or B) Carry on with 20% more Angst because that's apparently the only other choice. So, Black Templar fit. What about Carcharodons? They're a fuck-off sized FLEET based group of bloodthirsty morons that rely entirely on infantry based tactics, don't give a shit what formations and protocols they're supposed to follow are, do what they want when they want and do so in a manner that fits their name (Google it). The MI are a fuck-off small sized FLEET based group of morally and mentally questionable morons that rely entirely on Infantry based tactics, don't give a shit what a formation is and generally ignore the Rules of Engagement and other bits of info when they drop, do what they want within reason when they drop and do it in a manner that fits the mission briefing. Talk to a Carcharodon outside of a bloody cesspit of mud? Quiet, reserved, doesn't say much, will walk away when they've had enough or just stand there and stop replying, generally polite. Talk to an MI outside of an event? Usually Quiet, reserved, hardly says much unless it's in the small window where they're not AFKing in the bar, will walk away because they didn't read the chatbox / don't like you / got a steam message for ERP. Kinda polite I guess. Carcharodon in a fight? Yeah fuck it, let's go kill them. OH HEY LOTS OF VIOLENCE LET'S KILL MORE AND GET MORE DONE AND YEAH! Usually these leads to borderline genocide / extinctions of whatever they're shooting at / ripping apart / literally biting. MI in a fight? Hyped up because an event is gonna happen and then WHAT'S THAT THE ORDERS ARE TO WAIT HERE? BUT I HEAR GUNSHOTS I'M JUST GONNA WALK HERE AND *RATATATATATAT* YEAH! Usually this leads to near infinite numbers of Arachnids and Seps dropping dead to levels that could be considered at least Megadeath if not Genocide. Tl;Dr: Get the fuck out of here with that Ultramarine shit. Templars or Carcharodons.
  2. You not married anymore then? Huh.
  3. One of the RPG books (United Citizen I think) has every single colony, what they do, what the situation is like on it, what the economy is like etc.
  4. Where's my man Jacqueline Martin at?
  5. Lack of /charfallover makes the stun rifle (I.e, training rifle from the tacoscript weapons) not work as intended (as far as I know). It'll just kill someone rather than ragdoll them when health is low enough.
  6. It'd help more if you listed and explained how each of your characters died. Then people can say where you're going wrong.
  7. Exit button doesn't work when you first connect. If you click more than once on enlist (and possibly other tabs) you get an error when making a character. Once all the info is filled out and you click a model the entire box will rapidly (multiple times a second) flick between what has been entered and the default info. Only solution is to reconnect by either exiting Gmod completely OR joining off a friend on the server. You CANNOT use console during this issue. If you click choose character, you wait for any amount of time up to 25 seconds before the window appears. If you click choose character multiple times in the time it takes to appear, the character selection window will never go away even after you load into a character. There is no Intel section. Bodygroups are saved to the player and not the character. Attachments currently only persist until map change and / or server restart. Crosshairs have a tendency to disappear even with a weapon drawn. With Infinite Ammo disabled, players can still get "Infinite ammo" by attaching and removing the Drum Mag attachment. The HUD apparently has a tendency to crash.
  8. You mean asides from the fact that she was your Drop-lead on last night's event, and has asked your character if they needed assistance at least once?
  9. [A small section of Parchment with red ink is found within or attached to your locker and bed] "As requested by Lieutenant Richardson, I have been tasked with "Unfucking the Unit" (to quote him near verbatim) which includes, but is not limited to; Clamping down on insubordination, poor behaviour and unfitting behaviour of an adult mobile infantry trooper within the Federation's employ. Ensuring that no aspect of the Unit is being undermined nor prohibited by actions conducted by individuals that do not have just cause for doing so. Ensuring that actions that negatively impact, compromise or otherwise adversely affect the unit are met with a suitable response be the intention behind the action malicious or not. Reducing, and if possible removing, the issues regarding relationships performed between members of the Unit and attached detachments which include, but are not limited to; Favouritism, Hedonism, Collaboration in insubordination, inefficiency or neglect in performing your duties, unprofessional conduct and social manipulation or interactions that disrupt or damage the coherency of the unit. Examples of the above include, but are not limited to; Hostile, unprofessional and / or uncooperative behaviour towards or in the presence of a Corporal or higher such as telling such an individual to "Fuck off", Ignoring the individual because you do not like them, plotting with others to undermine or harm the individual because of a prior disagreement. Actions and Behaviour that inhibits an Engineering or Medically trained Trooper from performing their duties, such as deliberately wasting their time with inane requests and nonsense, distracting or otherwise pestering the individuals when they are attempting to work, becoming a liability such to the extent that their attention MUST be diverted to deal with the problems you create (You become heavily intoxicated which requires Medical attention). Actions and Behaviour that may compromise, inhibit or otherwise render negative consequences to the Unit whilst Deployed, Stationed on a Vessel or Satellite, Stationed Planetside or otherwise in active duty to some capacity OR during shore leave, rest and relaxation or a period of time designated for relaxation and recuperation in any capacity, such as harassment of the civilian populace, deliberate sabotage of potential mission-critical equipment without orders to do so, execution of entities such as High Value Targets, Chariots, Criminals with a Standing Arrest Order and any others specified by the Mission Drop Leader or a Master Sergeant ranked individual or higher, damaging of property during a non-combat deployment. Due to concerns held by multiple individuals, the following actions will be taken on the stated incidents unless overridden by a higher ranked (Staff Sergeant or Above) individual; Judicial Charges, Summary Court Martial or a Non-Judicial Punishment levied against Insubordinate Infantry, Individuals that willingly cause incidents within the Unit, Individuals who "Act as Children", Verbatim from numerous Military Intelligence Lieutenants, Senior Non-Commissioned Officers and above. Judicial Charges, Summary Court Martial or a Non-Judicial Punishment levied against Infantry that knowingly or unknowingly threaten the existence of the Unit and all members within. Judicial Charges, Summary Court Martial or a Non-Judicial Punishment levied against any Individual found to have directly been responsible for the death of a Trooper. Judicial Charges, Summary Court Martial or a Non-Judicial Punishment levied against any individual found to have utilised any form of relationship in an unprofessional manner such as the aforementioned examples of; Favouritism, Hedonism, Collaboration in insubordination, inefficiency or neglect in performing your duties, unprofessional conduct and social manipulation or interactions that disrupt or damage the coherency of the unit.
