History of the Federation Fleet
The Federation, being a stellar government of proportions never seen before in human history, requires an immense system to support it and defend it. This is the purpose of the Fleet.
Prior to its founding, all extra-planetary transportation and self-defense was conducted by the now defunct Federal Stellar Authority. This organization performed the duties expected of a merchant fleet, ferrying supplies and colonists to and from the newly established colonies, as well as providing basic protection from pirates and seditious elements with its merchant marine force.
They were not alone in the galaxy… and whatever was out there was hostile.
In response, the nations of Earth - still largely independent under the banner of the United Citizens Federation came to an unprecedented conclusion:
If humanity was to survive, it would only be through the unity of all it’s people.
Thus, SICON (Strategically Integrated Coalition Of Nations) was formed, unifying all of humanity's military, civic and logistical might under one organization.
In response, the FSA was divided into 3 organizations:
The naval portion of its military vessels would coalesce into the Federation Fleet, who were charged with defending the worlds of humanity from space, as well as transporting the Mobile Infantry to anywhere in known space.
The FSA Marines, and the armies of the Earth were combined to form the Mobile Infantry, who would act as the primary offensive wing of the Federation, and hold mastery over all ground based combat.
Finally, the logistical and merchant capacity of the FSA was delegated to the Federal Transit Authority, who would oversee all Colonial expansion and support, as well as supplying the logistics of the Fleet and Mobile Infantry.
Following the foundation of the Fleet, it quickly became the premier aspect of SICON’s military might. Consuming 60% of SICON’s entire military budget, the Fleet is viewed as humanity's first, last and greatest line of defense against all that would threaten it, as well as the source of humanity’s pride. Almost universally loved by the populace of the Federation, and equally essential, most of the Sky Marshals who have served throughout the Federations history have been chosen from the admiralty of the Fleet... And it's vessels have been at the forefront of every engagement and campaign fought against the Arachnids, the Skinnies and beyond.
From police and merchant fleet, to star-spanning armadas of military might, the history of the Federation is ever expanding. Following its refounding after the reconquest of Earth, the Federation Fleet is now at its strongest.
Led by the best and the brightest humanity has to offer, it leads the way to the glorious future that awaits all mankind. The future that only the United Citizens Federation can offer.
Will you play your part?
Join the Federation Fleet and take your place among the Stars!

"The UCF-187 Hiroo Onoda is one of many Federation ships to have developed a unique culture surrounding it's namesake. As Terran History tells, Hiroo Onoda was one of the last soldiers of Imperial Japan to surrender after the Second World War, which ended in 1945. 2Lt Onoda did not surrender his position in the Phillipines until 1974. Thus, the inspiration for the motto "Mori Quam Foedari". Due to studying in similar circles, a later aesthetic affinity for Pacific Theater Second World War Artwork developed by the Onoda's inhabiting crew. Here is some of the artwork that may be on display when the Onoda comes into orbit to protect your planet!"

4 Hour Quest line climax Event
Planet Cerus' deepwater ocean dams have failed, the colony is in ruins, and it's people devestated... Why did the dam fail? Who is to blame? Will you answer the call?

THOUSANDS DEAD, COLONY IN RUIN, WHO WILL HELP?
The United Citizens Federation's Military Force; The Sixth Fleet Commanded by veteran Fleet Admiral Skye Beringe has mobilized in an effort to assist on the outer rim Colony known as Cerus in the crisis event that four of the planet's recently constructed dams, holding back six different major bodies of water making up almost 86% of the planet.
These Dams, constructed during the disastrous Civil Wars to combat a possible food shortage after the war, allowed for industrial farmlands to be secured on the mineral rich soil and sediment that now continues being an oceanfloor oncemore, are now under scrutiny by top Federal Architects who are not ruling out Terrorist acts.
Death tolls are estimated in the thousands, collateral damage worth millions of pound. Do you have what it takes to help? Contact your local recruitment center to enlist and do your part to save lives today!

Personal Information
Family:
Backstory: Born in Anchorage during an off-season period to a working-class travelling family, Tiago admired and respected his parents. Being the child of spacers, in a large family, Tiago was raised a lot by his Grandmother in Anchorage while his parents were away. He attended schooling there with his siblings, being educated formally until grade 10, where he would work a contract out with a large trading company that would now be known as a piece of the Colonial Confederation, his family's then employer. However, his Grandmother insisted upon speaking Portugese, the language of her grandfather, in her household. Allowing Tiago to adopt many South American niches. He would accompany his Father, Mother and older siblings in the work field as a laborer disassembling and retrofitting old starships. Still being new, he was not allowed to tackle some of the bigger or more skilled tasks that his siblings, who had long been certified in certain skillsets could. Often receiving the "grunt" work, Tiago became increasingly frustrated by his family members. Despite proving his worth to the crew as a hard worker, his circumstances never changed. Things seemed to only worsen as news arrived of his Grandmother's passing. She had been on Terra when it fell, along with three of Tiago's younger siblings. His parents fell into a deep depression. His mother, completely inconsolable. They began to lose contracts. Work dried up. Soon, his Father and brothers anchored at a local station near Hesperus, using their remaining coin to purchase some property to double as a domicile and a hardware repair shop. Fed up with the circumstances set before himself, and of age, Tiago enlisted in Federal Service.
Characteristics: Bull-headed, Brash, Quick to Anger, Compassionate, AMPED
Strengths & Weaknesses: Tiago is often times known to jump the gun, he will often rush into situations with little to no knowledge of the situation. He has a weakness for the female form, and a vice for drinking, drugs, and partying. He is a hardworker, determined and physically capable.
Other Information: brazil sucks

Greetings all,
It displeases me to inform you that we've hit a lull here. Both myself and @F r a n c o have had a rather rough increase in IRL activities which have kept us busy. I myself am currently on the road traveling for a new job I've just finished training for, and now I get to try my hand at being in charge of my crew and really fucking things up :D. As life on the road does, things get tricky as far as staying connected. Naturally, without the presence of leadership both ICly and OOCly, population will decline. Just as well, the halt of the storyline will result in the same. So I'm afraid I'm just going to have to tell you how we're going to fix things.
The Civil War Finale
The Campaign starts July 8th. This Campaign will be the assault on Sanctuary, Capture/Killing of Admiral Erin O'Brien, and finally the end of the Federal Civil War storyline. It will be personally handled by Franco, Orwell, and Myself. With some assistance from helper monkeys, as usual. More information on that will be released in it's own thread.
Content
Currently, our noble developer has been contracted out to begin work on a roadmap. I will not go into heavy detail as some of it is a surprise, just know that this roadmap will see the release of content every month if not every other month for the next year. Ultimately, we will completely revamp and revitalize SSTRP just as Xal did the past year with SStwoRP. I can also tell you that these new pieces of content will not just "show up", and will actually be ICly developed, tested, and cleared for field usage. These items include sweps, entities, vehicles, models, and even possibly a new game mode.
I hope this eases some of you who may be distressed by the lull as of recent, and excites you for what is to come.
Your Obedient Servant,
Durango

Official Awards of the Federation Fleet
Approved by UCF Board of Admiralty
MEDALS
Fleet Cross
The Fleet Cross is the UCF Fleet's second-highest military decoration awarded for sailors and marines who distinguish themselves for extraordinary heroism in combat with an armed enemy force. It is equivalent to the Infantry Cross. This award must be approved by an RAdm+.
Fleet Distinguished Service Medal
The Fleet Distinguished Service Medal is presented to sailors and marines to recognize distinguished and exceptionally meritorious service to humanity while serving in a duty or position of great responsibility.
Fleet Expeditionary Medal
The General Orders of the Board of Admiralty which established the medal states, "The medal will be awarded, to the officers and enlisted men of the Navy who shall have either landed on foreign territory and engaged in operations against armed opposition, or operated in foreign space under circumstances which, after full consideration, shall be deemed to merit special recognition and for which service no campaign medal has been awarded. "
Fleet Good Conduct Medal
The Good Conduct Medal, each one specific to each of the branches of the UCF Armed Forces, is currently awarded to any active duty enlisted member of the United Citizens Federation military who completes three consecutive years of "honorable and faithful service". Such service implies that a standard enlistment was completed without any NJP(s), disciplinary infractions, or court martial offenses. If a service member commits an offense, the three-year mark "resets" and a service member must perform an additional three years of service without having to be disciplined, before the Good Conduct may be authorized.
