Article 41 - Authority of the Military Intelligence Marine Corps to investigate and prosecute offenses

Except where otherwise mentioned, a Military Intelligence Marine, where in the performance of their duties as a

Any civilian who has willingly, intentionally or unwillingly and or unintentionally destroyed or damaged property of the United Citizens Federation is subject to punishment by law enforcement agents at aforementioned law enforcement agent's discretion. The administered punishment is to be appropriate and proportional to the damage or destruction done. If these civilians have destroyed military property on an active military sight, thus jeopardizing a military operation, authorized stationed personnel such as Military Intelligence have full right to administer punishment at their own accord. Any person in a position of leadership has full right to detain the civilian(s) until authorized personnel have arrived to administer punishment.

    98( b ) - Military Personnel

Any military personnel who has willingly, intentionally or unwillingly and or unintentionally destroyed or damaged property of the United Citizens Federation is subject to punishment by their commanding officer according to aforementioned commanding officer's discretion. Article 99 - Treason against the United Citizens Federation

Treason against the United Citizens Federation is an intolerable offense, no matter the rank or status of the offender. Any person found guilty of treason is to be immediately taken to a place of execution where they are to be lawfully, and dutifully executed for their crime(s).

    Article 100 - War Crimes

Any person(s) found to be in connection to a confirmed war crime(s) is to be taken to court (a formal court is not required to serve this purpose) and put on trial for their crimes immediately. Furthermore, said person, if found guilty, is to at the minimum be: stripped of their military rank, dishonorably discharged, forbidden from any further military service, and if applicable, stripped of citizenship.

Article 101 - Harming of a Non-Combatant Prisoner or Prisoner of War

The harming of a non-combatant prisoner or prisoner of war by any military personnel is strictly forbidden unless the non-combatant prisoner or prisoner of war has been deemed a threat to the Federation, it's personnel or property. If the non-combatant prisoner or prisoner of war has been considered a threat to the Federation, it's personnel or property, the actions taken are left to the discretion of the highest United Citizens Federation ranked military person. If the non-combatant prisoner or prisoner of war was not deemed a threat to the aforementioned items and people, the person who has harmed the citizens and civilians is to be punished according to how the court and punishers seem fit.

Article 102 - Harming of a Non-Combatant Citizen or Civilian

The harming of a non-combatant citizen or civilian by any military personnel is strictly forbidden unless the non-combatant citizen or civilian has been deemed a threat to the Federation, it's personnel or property. If the non-combatant citizen or civilian has been considered a threat to the Federation, it's personnel or property, the actions taken are left to the discretion of the highest United Citizens Federation ranked military person. If the non-combatant citizen or civilian was not deemed a threat to the aforementioned items and people, the person who has harmed the citizens and civilians is to be punished according to how the court and punishers seem fit.

    Article 114 - Endangerment Offenses

Endangerment is classified as the reckless or unbecoming action that can lead to damage or harm.
    — Any person subject to this chapter who engages in conduct that—

    (1) is wrongful and reckless or is wanton; and

    (2) is likely to produce death or grievous bodily harm to another person; shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

    Article 118 - Murder

Murder is classified as the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another who is classified as a non-combatant citizen or civilian, see article 102 for further details. If found guilty, the accused is immediately dishonorably discharged and sent to a place of Execution or Prison/Work Camp.

    Article 119 - Manslaughter

Manslaughter is classified as the crime of killing a human being without malice aforethought, or otherwise in the circumstances not amounting to murder. The administered punishment falls to the discretion of the commanding officer of the accused individual. If found guilty of manslaughter, the accused is to go through the process of dishonorable discharge along with, if any, additional punishments by the commanding officer as seen fit.

    Article 120 - Rape/Sexual Assault

Manslaughter is classified as the crime of having intercourse with a non-consensual individual, using force to have non-consensual intercourse, using force to make non-consensual, physically sexual advances, or any further deliberated scenarios viewed by a court. If found guilty, a discharge is the least of the punishments issued, with the death penalty being far more common.

    Article 127 - Extortion

A service member of the UCF Armed Services who, with intent to secure some leverage or item of value, threatens another person with force, with the release of secrets, or by any other means, may face conviction and sentencing under Article 127 of the UCMJ. Mere threats may not seem like a justifiable cause for harsh punishment, but SICON doesn’t see it that way. Should you be convicted, you will almost certainly face the following punishments. Prison sentence, Dishonorable Discharge, Loss of Security, and even Execution. Officers; both commissioned and warrant, will face death.

    Article 130 - Stalking

Any service member of the Federal Service who repeatedly and intentionally engages in unwanted visual or physical contact with another person, OR threatens this person or a member of his or her family with violence, sexual assault, or death, may face charges under Article 130 of the AOTF. Typical punishments for charges under this Article are transfers, although dishonorable discharges are not uncommon should the situation prove to be serious.

    Article 133 - Conduct Unbecoming

Conduct unbecoming is classified as the crime of breaking military conduct regulations, showing indication by acts of dishonesty, unfair dealing, indecency, indecorum, lawlessness, injustice, or cruelty. Any serviceman who is convicted of conduct unbecoming shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

    133( B ) - Extension to Commissioned Officers/Warrant Officers

If the charged at hand is that of an officer, the punishment that presides will be far harsher due to the high standards put in place by the UCF for their Officers. Punishment can range from removal of commission, to dishonorable discharge or execution.

    Article 134 - Intoxication

Public intoxication is classified as being intoxicated far beyond an acceptable limit, generally resulting in disorderly conduct. Public intoxication in and of itself is to be punished via Non-Judicial punishment administered by authorized personnel (this does not include any superior officer who has no lawful right to punish the accused) only if infallible evidence can be provided.

    Article 135 - Narcotics

Narcotics are drugs or other substances that affect mood or behavior and are sold for non-medical purposes, especially an illegal one. Any narcotics found in military premises are to be immediately confiscated and destroyed with said premises having a thorough search conducted by the senior Military Intelligence officer and personnel appointed by the senior Military Intelligence officer. The search affects every person on the premises with absolutely zero exceptions. Any individuals who are found in connection to the narcotics are to be detained, questioned, and if applicable, punished by the senior Military Intelligence officer regardless of rank.

    Article 137 - Fraternization

Fraternization to a certain extent is encouraged among service members, such as team-building exercises and other such activities. Whenever a superior commissioned, non-commissioned, or warrant officer threatens the chain of command, resulted in the appearance of partiality, or otherwise undermined good order, discipline, authority, or morale, actions are to be taken by residing Military Police. Listed below are the requirements for a fraternization charge.

    The accused fraternized on terms of military equality with one or more certain service members in a certain manner;

    The fraternization violated the custom of the accused's service that service members will not fraternize without proper documentation, and;

Under the circumstances, the conduct of the accused was to the prejudice of good order and discipline in the armed forces or was of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces.

    137( B ) - Extension to Commissioned Officers/Warrant Officers

Any Commissioned or Warrant Officers are held to a higher standard of this, and if caught can and most likely will end in their execution or dishonorable discharge at least.

I have been studying History and regional conflict for decades, longer then some in this division have been alive. I am well aquinted with the mentality, formidability and study of war, and this can translate very well to this study and field if you would allow me. I am not only good at researching information, but encaptulating my students and peers in explaining the complexities in an easy to understand way, this is both my communicational and research skills put into practice, which means studies completed will be much more applicable to infantry who may not otherwise understand this vital information."

To say it plainly, you're too new. I need time to gauge whether or not you'd make a positive addition to Intel or not.

  3. So, children.

I plan to work closely with Latias in regards to Medical and MIPOD relations, with exercises and fun little shit planned.

Latias and myself have come to an arrangement, and there will be a MIPOD psychic therapy/training room within the Medical Bay quite soon, and more is to follow with this.

    and, take notes here.

If you wish to stay in MIPOD, you have to show some sort of drive. If this is just ‘another’ character you have on your selection page, and not someone actively seeking to further their own character via abilities and storyline, I’m afraid you won’t have a place in the division. You take up a slot. Make sure you make that a positive contribution.

    BREAKING NEWS!

Valrinth Under Siege by KPA Forces!

Hours ago, the capitol of Kredia was put under siege by KPA forces. Being the last remaining solid foothold the Federation has on the planet, the Separatists seek to part themselves from the Federation and it’s protective embrace.

Only five hours ago, the KPA had launched a major offensive against the Federally controlled city of Valrinth, the last remaining beacon of hope for Kredia. Federation forces have held their ground firmly, and reports of SSI ground teams being deployed to assist the defensive effort has been going around. After the use of long-range missiles against the cities exterior defenses, KPA separatists had stormed the city, now holding within the outskirts of the cities capitol sector, thanks to a pushback by the local PDF.

The SSI residential representative has chosen not to comment on this situation, and their headquarters have also refused to respond to any and all requests.

Refugees have been flooding out of the ports in Kredia, and out into adjacent colonies following the attack by the KPA. While the Federal troopers bravely hold their ground so that the citizens of Valrinth can make it out in one piece.

[PDF Troops offloading from an APC somewhere near the capitol building. A burnt-out KPA tank is pictured down the center road.]

Col. Zhi Shao of the 14th Morita Rifles has assumed command over the defense and evacuation of Valrinth. When asked to comment about this event, the Colonel said this.

    --

While the planet Kredia may be in peril, we cannot forget the virtues of it’s people. The men and women on the ground will not falter, and they will not sway under the savagery of the KPA. They will hold every inch of this concrete ground until every citizen is safely away from this conflict. I will not lie. Kredia may fall. But it’s people -will- not.

  5. So, boys and girls, women and children. Gentiles from abroad.

I changed the ranks to the 'RES-FAC' shit some time back in order to try and bring the focus on research, more than rank gaining. And, I simply wanted to see how it would operate. I had listened to a few people, and I wanted to see how this would work.

With this, I've seen what I've wanted to see, and I've changed my mind in regards to how the ranking will work. It will be reverted back to the 'normal' one, starting at Petty Officer, as it once did.

Any questions and concerns can be brought to me.

    -

What is your backstory that would make you believe that your character was a Psychic?

Born in Sderot, Israel his earlier years were unremarkable. Both mother and father were present, both were citizens and both thoroughly appreciated the rewards and privileges the Federation had provided them. The second of three children, Arkady found himself between the crushing need to out do his overachieving older sister just as he felt a desire to be as relaxed as his younger brother. His lack of academic notability didn't help his cause, an older sibling who worked hard and a younger on who was naturally intellectual. It wasn't easy to shine through to his parents.

Things took a drastic change for a young Netanyahu however. Around his second year of secondary education his academic performance rose inexplicably. Finding himself capable of remembering vast amounts of information to simply regurgitate it accurately without so much as straining. While it was merely school level knowledge there was no doubt in his mind something changed. He got smart. His teachers on the other hand believed his dead sprint ahead of his peers to have been the result of constant cheating. While unappreciated by his educators over the years, an apt intelligence recruiter who'd been tracking his progression for a while yet eventually offered him an olive branch after he got into a rather violent altercation which resulted in the physical and mental impairing of another student mere weeks before his graduation.

While it was more than he'd expected, a career in Federal Intelligence wasn't something he could turn down. Literally. They gave him a simple ultimatum, serve time or serve time. Initially he assumed it'd be an experience to enjoy and boast about, and at first the feeling of power and control was thrilling to him, soon though it dissipated. Between the rigorous physical and mental conditioning demanded of him, the unsociable and extensive work weeks, and the fact that he regularly invaded the mental-privacy of both enemies and fellow citizens alike at remote blacksites that even he didn't know the name of. Eventually Netanyahu felt the reward of his work fade swiftly as the reality of it all settled in.

Barely three months into his fourth year, he resigned. Gladly accepting the repercussions of an early departure, thrust towards Mobile Intelligence to complete his Federal obligations.

Write out which classification you are choosing for your operative.

    Memory Man.

Write out a situation in which you would have to use one of your abilities?:

An apparently feminine figure sat bound to a rather archaic chair behind a table just as bare-bones and unappealing. Compared to the overtly high-tech nature of the dark lit room the furnishings were underwhelming, though to anyone viewing from the outside, it was rightly so. Nobody ever wound up in a room such as this because they did good things. Abruptly, panels overhead flickered once before they washed the room in critically cold lighting. Harshly illuminating the room, showing of it's full 'hominess'. The seated woman was bloodied and battered, barely remaining upright in her place.

With an audible hiss a door opened, decompressing it seemed, and a man clad in black trousers and a casual white t-shirt entered. Devoid of identifiers yet unafraid to show his face to the covert cameras and false walls. They sighed, boots tapping against the slick floor as they stepped up to the table. Tossing aside a stack of blank papers, simply for dramatisation's sake, and a clear bag of personal effects. Sleeping beauty awoke with a pained groan, neck craning to look up at the new arrival. They were wordless and admirably neutral. Netanyahu simply gave them an approving nod as he spoke "Listen to me. We all -- want the same thing here. All you need to do? Is explain. Provide me with answers."

He received little in the way of reply. The bound woman maintained her silence, breathing hoarsely before she sniffed loudly and spat a mouthful of saliva and blood out. To which Arkady simply blinked, head shaking in frustration "Major. Major Lawal!- It's not that hard. Answer the question. Why did you order your men, your company, to stand down when the rogue Fleet-" he never quite got to finish his sentence. A distinct chime resounded, causing him to direct his attention to one of the faux-walls and press two fingers to an ear. Netanyahu's speech was short, nearly protesting but ultimately he complied, nodding softly.

His hands plucked up the clear sealed bag, causing the bound woman to reorient her head in silent protest. He locked eyes with them as he sifted through it's contents, thumbing at a recording disc. A hummed slipped from his lips as an odd but all too familiar sensation rippled through him, carelessly he tossed the disc. It clattering on the table "You know and I both know your daughter'd rather have you home, than a death notification."

The psychic re-positioned, leaning in behind the officer. "Ma'am! I am going to ask you one more ti-" the defiant bark in reply he received was more than enough to trigger a complete 180. Without warning he clapped both hands against the back of the woman's head, driving her forwards. Her head to bounce off of the tabletop and blood poured from the captive's nose as they let out an angered shout. It seemed Netanyahu was done being polite.

A heavy hand pressed itself against the Captain's face, pushing the reeling man further down against the cold steel table. Restrained yells sounded, echoing through the room as whomever sat in the room adjacent depolarised a wall to watch. Face visible, hands clasped at their lower back as Arkady went about forcefully extracting the information in the other room -- eyes shut, brows knitted. Silently he traversed the woman's subconscious, breathing steadily as bits and pieces gradually came together to form. To separate fact from fiction. His calm in deep contrast to the agonising screams of the Major. There was a bigger picture to be sure and one with an unsettling truth behind it but the further he went the worse he felt, cleaving through a shallow sea of genuinely beautiful memories to uproot and extract the nastiest, most controversial among them.
