The Standard-Issue CLS (Combat Lifesaver) Kit
Combat Lifesaver is an intermediate step between the buddy aid-style using the IFAK, and the advanced life support taught to combat medics. CLS can be taught to anyone willing to step into the Combat Lifesaver role, by anyone Second Specialist or above in the Medical Detachment. The CLS kit includes the aforementioned IFAK items, as well as the following:
-1 x Nasopharyngeal Airway 28F with Lubricant
-1 x ARS® Needle Decompression Kit (14 G x 3.25 in.)
-1x Ammonia Inhalants (10 Crushable Ampules)
