[IC] Specialist Tryouts

**This notice is posted outside the infantry barracks, the NCO barracks, mess hall, the bar, and the armory.**

 

ATTENTION

Do YOU want to help out the Mobile Infantry? Do you want to have access to some of the MI's special weaponry AND get commended for using it well? Do you wish you had more to do on drops then just make a line and shoot?

If you said 'yes' to any of these questions, you are in luck. Coming in a week or less is a new sub-division. This sub-division will be dedicated to learning about and using the non-standard weapons that the MI has at their disposal. You will get to work with these weapons, train constantly to better yourself, work with NCOs to update and create new tactics based around these weapons, and work with other specialists in the field to bring glory to the Federation.

If you are interested in being able to use the 40mm Underbarrel Grenade Launcher, Light Machine Gun, Designated Marksman Rifle, Long Range Radio, Morita Mark 3, and/or the new Morita X Infantry Sniper Rifle please show up to the Specialist Tryouts.

The tryouts will be held before February 12th, 2298, in the armory. Official date TBA, stay tuned.

Notice: If you have previously used a weapon that is now on the list of specializations, please bring documented proof detailing the weapon you've used, how long you have used it, and how effectively you have used it. You can get these from any Corporal and above. Signature is required.

Four new weapons have been added to the Weapon Specialist Roster. See below for the list of all current specializations.

-Mark 2 LMG

-Carbine

-Belcher Shotgun

-Under-barrel Grenade Launcher

-Mark 3 (Advanced)

-Flamethrower (Advanced)

-Mark 55 (Advanced)

-LRR

-Morita X (Advanced)

Future weapons/specializations currently in development

-Support by Fire team (Advanced)

The six weapons listed with out the (Advanced) marking are available for all new specialists. The weapons listed with the (Advanced) marking will be available to those who are either deemed skilled enough to be made Senior Specialists or those who make the rank through hard work.
