After a Month of silence, reports have finally been handed out on the Colony planet known as Perxies. With the planet rapidly approaching its Winter Season, the population has been moved into the Capitol city of Perxul. This city is, at the moment, under heavy quarantine. 2 MILLION Civilians and Citizens have been pushed into the confines of the city, under protection from 70,000 Planetary Defense Forces 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The cause of this Quarantine is to keep the populace safe from a new Arachnid Caste that was discovered on the planet. We've spoken to General Francis Cooper, the head of the Operation on Perxies and here is his official statement. "Due to the uncertainty of this new Arachnid caste and their ability to hide inside of people, our orders are to keep the people of this great planet safe and secure. I have every man we can spare guarding the walls, walking the streets and keeping the people safe. There is nothing to fear at this moment in time." In orbit of Perxies sits a large Federal blockade, being run by Admiral John Baxter. When asked on the purpose of his Fleet waiting in Orbit, he had this to say. "As far as we know, this Arachnid Caste is exclusive to the Planet of Perxies. Because of this, we can not risk anybody infected getting off the planet. Therefore, nobody gets in or out of the planet unless authorized and thoroughly searched. We urge any people on the planet to refrain from attempting to leave the planet. It is for your own safety and the safety of the rest of the Federation." Truly terrifying stuff. As of now, according to an official report from Captain Jennifer Prescott, one of the leading Federal Researchers on Perxies, the current goal of the Federation is to locate the main source of this new Arachnid Caste. As with most Arachnid presences on a planet. this new species is most likely originating from a singular hive. Right now, all of Perxies' best minds are working together to locate this Hive and destroy it. We have no doubts in our minds that the brave men and women of the Federation will, as they always do, find a way to defeat this new Arachnid menace.
