Engineering Training Log File 025

Instructor: SSpc. Rosalind Gastubashi, TSgt. Tzipora Bronson

Trainee(s): 3Spc. John Henderson, 3Spc. Antaeus Kibo

Subject: Sapper

Category: 1 to 3 for Henderson, 1 to 2 for Kibo

Date: 03/17/YYYY

Time: 10:30 GMT (3:30 PM California Time)

Notes: I covered all the basics with both until the Box Test for Sapper, Henderson was able to complete it without issue but Kibo had issue reassembling it. Bronson offered to take over Kibo's training while I went down to cover the basics of Mark 4 with Henderson until we had to attend the execution, in which Henderson wished to stop his training after. Kibo was unable to complete his Box Test either as the Company was called in for a Combat Drop.

(OOC: Kibo needs help understanding how to use his Gmod Tools, something I am not good in doing.)

Performed a regular sapper training, however had to be grabbed over pressing their clacker as soon as they were in cover, this was addressed by telling them that fire in the hole is required three times over the radio before detonation,

Will observe field reports regarding individual if any problems occur.

Instructor: TSgt. S. V. Strattmann

Trainee(s): 3Spc. Maxwell DeVries

Subject: Sapper

Category: 3-6

Date:  Tuesday, May 2nd, 2299 (5/2/2019)

Time: 12AM GMT

Notes: Training was extremely basic, considering lack of training supplies thanks to current circumstances. Did the best with what I had and advised DeVries to stick with an engineer on his first few deployments to grasp the practical side of things whilst out in the field. Rather unorthodox method, admittedly but in light of recent situations I believe the adaptation of teaching is acceptable. Would be handy to find training equipment whilst scavenging to restore lecture depth.

Instructor: TSgt. S. V. Strattmann

Trainee(s): 3Spc. Alessandro Noviello, Spc. Noemi Reel, Spc. James Reacher, Spc. Atichat Saiphan

Subject: Systems

Category: 1-6

Date:  Wednesday, May 3rd, 2299 (5/3/2019)

Time: 5-6PM GMT

Notes: First large group training-- Was again rather unorthodox thanks to lack of equipment to run through practical examples of each of the training points. Other than the obvious points provided, everyone seemed to show understanding of the theory behind the workings of Systems-- Nothing else of note.

Engineering Training Log File 042

Instructor: MSpc. Rosalind 'Gats' Gastubashi

Trainee(s): 3Spc. Mark 'Sink' Zink

Subject: Sapper

Category: 1-6

Date: 05/16/99

Time: 6:00 PM to 8:48 PM

Notes: Zink seems to have a grasp of it all, he did his research by reading the training manual and we went just went through the motions. Shows a basic understanding of everything and after successfully completing a play-detonation of a shaped charge, I handed him his Sapper Patch and let him go off. He also mentioned he lacked training with a M55 and is something either I or another Engineer can follow up another time.
