Okay I am gonna keep this brief. (In the best way I can xD) 

 

When I rp (Believe it or not) I am playing a character, not myself.

 

For example, yesterday I accidentally roasted someone with backblast.

 

OOCly, I didn't really give a fuck, they rolled a number that didn't kill there char, so all was good.

 

ICly, my character Cait felt guilty and ashamed. The reason I did this was because the story of Cait is that her old friends (In her last platoon) Died in a engineer friendly fire incident. This event led to her hate of engineers. Recently I decided to rp she actually wants to become an engie and believes that the one bad engie from the past should not represent engineering as a whole. (<Character development)

 

So when Cait, as an engineer, basically becomes the person she hates and commits a friendly fire incident of her own (minus the killing part), she feels fucking awful. This is called, playing a character.

 

That is a lengthy example, but my point still stands. So please remember, most of the emotions and opinions of my characters are not my own. I do not play as myself like a lot of people, because this is a rp server. When I was Carter, I use to do stupid shit on purpose and also be overly kind, this is because it was her character to be that way.
