TEMPERS ON THE RISE WITHIN ORTIZ' FRAGILE COALITION

Preceding the Civil War, as many of you readers out there know, the government has been on rocky ground. The new Coalition government has been in an almost constant state of inner conflict, much different to the bipartisan nature of the past.

We bring this up today as on April 10, 2299, a few key points in recent legislation have been called into question by the Federal Council. Those points being integral to Mobile Infantry action along the AQZ and outer colonies, with the hopes of applying larger numbers of men to those areas as well as handing more powers to regional military commanders. Many of the legislation failings has been put on the Sky Marshal Ortiz's head, as it is argued that her government has an open disregard to military failings and colony politics. Her opposition point to the recent disaster on Kredia due to federal action to be their main motive to shoot down any additional power being handed over to any regional commanders.

Many have began looking to Council Member Viktor Wroclaw (Sky Marshal Ortiz’s former Interior Minister.), as a better and more swift acting member of her party. One of the few voices of calm within the council chambers. Who made headway this week to limit the damage done within the council by being the first within SM Ortizs party to openly admit the action on Kredia as a mistake.

These recent shutdowns of legislation and military action has caused the Coalition government to stagnate and begin grinding into a state indecision and inner conflict. And as we all know, indecision is worse than a bad decision.
