Hicks
AFC-FG-103-Charles H. Upham (UCF-103) - Yukon-IV Class Frigate Unfinished systems/sub-systems System - Power Unfinished sub-systems: Secondary nuclear fission reactor control – Requires 2x control consoles physically installing and electrically testing for safety. Consoles can then be integrated into the Upham’s systems. Consoles are stored inside the cargo bay. Requires: anyone for physical installation, systems engineer for electrical testing, systems engineer and fleet support for systems integration. No secondary power source currently available until this is fixed. OPERATIONAL Cold fusion reactor fuel delivery system – Requires second automatic fuel delivery system installed. Consists of one radiation shielded automatic robotic pick and place system, stored within the cargo bay. Requires physical and electrical installation by someone familiar with robotics. Systems integration then needed by robotics tech and fleet support. Reactor currently only working at 50% capacity until issue resolved. Back-up solar arrays – Requires 25x solar arrays on the lower port quarter of ship wiring into the existing system. Hull of the entire Upham is covered in reactive panels that have 3 purposes. They act as armour, the absorption surfaces for the Aegis sensors, and solar panels. They are physically already in place. Requires electrical installation. The system already in place will automatically update when new panels are detected. Requires systems engineer with EVA training. Port quarter solar panels not currently functioning (solar array functioning at 80% capacity). Unable to support ship entirely on solar power while in orbit. System - Structure Unfinished sub-systems: Static build-up 'earthing' rods – Requires 2x static discharge rods physically installed on the keel. Rods are NOT currently in stock within the cargo bay. Rods act to discharge static build-up collected through various means, typically flying through electrically charged nebulae, firing the MAC cannon, or flying through MISSME clouds. Rods extend below the keel and skim the atmosphere during specially designed static-discharge flying paths. Requires anyone to physically install, preferably an engineer with knowledge and respect for electricity. Currently have to enter deeper into the atmosphere to discharge static from the hull of the vessel, which is an incredibly dangerous manoeuvre. Automated fire control systems – OPERATIONAL Remote blast door control – Requires blast door wired and wireless control units integrating into Upham core systems. All blast doors are fully fitted and currently functional, however only on an automatic level. Remote manual control is not possible. Requires a systems engineer and fleet support. Remote deployment of blast doors will not be possible until this system is integrated. OPERATIONAL Dropship launch control – Requires auto-pilot control board installing and electrically testing for safety within navigations console. The console can then be reintegrated into the Upham’s systems. Board is stored inside the cargo bay. Requires systems engineer for physical installation, systems engineer for electrical testing, systems engineer and fleet support for systems integration. Automatic dropship launch and landing unavailable until the console is installed and functioning. (Effectively, autopilot docking for dropships doesn’t exist currently and is all done manually by the pilots, which requires significant skill and incurs substantial risk) OPERATIONAL System - Propulsion Unfinished sub-systems: Alcubierre drive – Requires 4x capacitor banks require physically and electrically installing. 2x capacitor banks are stored within the cargo bay. 2x capacitor banks need to be located. Requires electrically qualified engineers to physically and electrically install. Systems engineers and fleet technicians are required to integrate capacitors into the Upham systems. 8x capacitor banks are used in total to power the drive, which means the drive is only current functioning at 50% capacity. Automated docking systems – See Dropship Launch Control. The docking system is controlled by the same board. OPERATIONAL System - Life Support Unfinished sub-systems: Pressure control system – Pressure monitoring and control in some areas are not functioning. Requires diagnosis and troubleshooting. Likely a system integration or electrical issue. Some doors must be left open to ensure that the functioning area pressure systems can compensate. This is obviously a large problem considering security and airtightness in case of a breach. Areas affected: enlisted barracks, canteen, medical bay. OPERATIONAL Gas/vapour collection (air intakes) – Some of the HVAMS (High Volume Air Movement Systems) are not functional and require diagnosis and troubleshooting. Likely a system integration or electrical issue. Air movement system is not functioning at 100% efficiency and therefore potentially harmful build-up of toxic gases or vapours is possible. Areas affected: all HVAMS unit #4 is currently still in fault. Electrical fault detected on fan #2 motor. Possible electric motor replacement or repair required. Likely an issue with the windings. Please rectify. Fault investigated. New motor required. Part no: A06B-0044-B423-0100 Gas/vapour distribution (air outlets) – Pressure control systems on some decks are not functioning. See life support systems diagram. OPERATIONAL Oxygen recycling (scrubbers/pumps) – Due to low intake of air, 2 of 4 scrubbers have entered fault mode, the high volume scrubbers. This is causing a low volume of gas recycling and therefore a low percentage of vital components in the overall air. This means that the systems are accessing the gas reserves to compensate. It’s a minor drain as the low volume scrubbers are still working, so at the current rate, gas reserves will deplete in approximately 2-3 weeks. HVAMS issue needs resolving before this can be resolved. OPERATIONAL Nitrogen recycling (scrubbers/pumps) – See above OPERATIONAL CO2 recycling (scrubbers/pumps) – See above OPERATIONAL Mixed gas recycling (scrubbers/pumps) – See above OPERATIONAL Water vapour recycling – Requires 2x industrial grade vapour condensers installing. Currently 0x available on the ship. Requires a systems engineer and someone familiar with air and water movement for physical and electrical installation. Systems integration to be performed by systems engineer with fleet support. Currently, most liquid vapours are not being removed from the air and, as such, the air humidity is steadily growing every time someone showers, or turns on a tap, or flushes the toilet. Approximately 2-3 weeks of build-up will mean humidity will reach dangerous levels for electrical equipment. Waste collection system – Requires 2x industrial grade pump/macerators installing into the waste system. One pump without a macerator has been jury-rigged in for the meantime to ensure no sewage back-ups happen, but issues will arise soon as solid matter as large as is going through the system currently is not recyclable by the current system. Systems engineer for electrical installation, someone with a strong stomach for physical installation. Currently, no waste matter is being recycled as it cannot be correctly collected. Waste recycling system – Recycling is performed by a dual system which is currently installed and functioning, however, it cannot currently function correctly due to the lack of correct pumps for the collection system. After the collection system is installed properly and issues rectified, the recycling system will need fully isolating and cleaning out of all matter. Until then, recycling cannot happen and sewage back-ups will become more and more likely over the next few weeks. Potable water distribution system – A pump was removed from this system to power the wastewater collection system. Once that system has the correct pumps installed, the jury-rigged potable water pump will need to be reinstalled back into the distribution system after being thoroughly cleaned and sanitised. Until then, the water pressure all over the vessel is very poor. Taking a shower is, frankly, depressingly slow. Waste plumbing (showers/toilets/drains) OPERATIONAL Humidity control systems – Humidity control is currently shut down due to lack of vapour control. See water vapour recycling. Humidity is controlled by the 4x Air Conditioning units which are currently not all functioning due to the lack of condensers and other components. Humidity cannot be fully controlled room by room until the AC units are fully repaired. Air conditioning – Requires the water vapour recycling system to be repaired. Also requires 3x new expansion valves for the refrigerant lines and a new set of evaporator coils for the two high volume AC systems. Valves and coils require installing by an engineer, preferably with knowledge of HVAC systems. Severe temperature and humidity problems may be experienced until this is rectified. Temperature regulation systems – Controlled by the Air Conditioning units. Currently not functioning correctly due to bad evaporator coils. See Air Conditioning systems. Temperature cannot be fully controlled room by room until the AC units are fully repaired. Hydroponics – Hydroponics can commence once the organic waste is recycled and turned into compost by the wastewater recycling system. System - Data Handling Unfinished sub-systems: Data recorders – Automatic data recorders are non-functional, due to telemetry suite errors. Resolving the telemetry suite errors will allow the data-recorders to correctly gather navigational data. Telemetry suites – Some navigational/telemetry sensors require realigning, reteaching, and resetting on the Upham control systems. 2x sensors are located on the upper port beam, 4x sensors are located on the upper starboard quarter, 3x sensors located on lower amidships. Sensors require EVA and systems trained engineers for physical work and Fleet technician assistance afterwards. System - Telecommunications Unfinished sub-systems: Long-Range-Radio systems – LRR is not fully encrypted due to issues with encoding/encryption systems. Rectifying encoding/encryption system will fix this issue. Encoding/encrypting systems – Encryption software currently not installed. Base level encryption using a 1024-bit key installed by PO3 Imperius. AES-4096 level encryption required for full protection. System - Sensors Unfinished sub-systems: Tactical sensors (Yinimina Precision Devices 'Aegis' Self-Defence Sensor System) – See solar array, as panels are both solar and sensor panels. There is currently a blackspot in the Aegis in the lower port quarter of the ship, between approximately 122° and 147°. System - Weapons Unfinished sub-systems: 6x Brunham Ballistics MW-888 'Trip Eight' 35mm Defense Guns – 4x require physically connecting to the ship systems, needing an EVA trained Systems Engineer to complete. 6x require connecting to the fire control system by a trained Fleet technician. 6/12 Trip Eights currently online. 2x FedCom 'Firestorm' MK1 Multi-Purpose Missile System – Both Firestorms require physically connecting to the ship systems, needing an EVA trained Systems Engineer to complete. Both Firestorms also require connecting to the fire control system by a trained Fleet technician. 4/6 1x FedCom 'Retaliator' Thermonuclear Torpedo Launcher – Torpedo loading crane for port side Retaliator currently has no power. Requires 1000 volt 3-phase power lines installing by trained Systems engineer. Until the crane is powered, only the starboard side Retaliator can be used. OPERATIONAL 1x Morita Colossus MKVIII Mass Accelerator Cannon targeting systems integration – Targetting systems need to be hooked up to 32 forward-most gas manoeuvring thrusters (those responsible for MAC alignment). Until then, MAC cannot be aligned correctly without almost impossible levels of involvement from the pilot. OPERATIONAL Link to comment

Taking a metal disk out of his pocket that might have once been some kind of hub-cap with a H inked on one side and a T on the other he placed it on this thumb and flipped it up in to the air, end over end. snatching it out of the air and inspecting his palm his fingers uncurled to reveal the "H". Roskana 'Pie' Nejem says "The first thing I want to work on is the gas and vapour collection system, which isn't functional throughout the entire ship, for whatever reason." OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem says "So- what I'm going to do, is on the engineering console, I'm going to begin a troubleshoot on the HVAMS system, and from there, I'll relay the problems down to you, and, with any luck, we'll have it fixed relatively quickly, and can move on." ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem turned to the engineering station, and set about activating it with her override login, and bringing up the ship's HVAMS system, consisting of the air intake and discharge. Beginning at the bow of the ship, she began to send internal troubleshooting packets to each main substation that controlled the duct system, in hopes to find whatever was causing the issue. Once finished with the initial troubleshoots, she then moved on to the aft section of the ship, and re-performed the operation of sending troubleshooting packets from her main console down to each main substation that controlled both the air intake and discharge. OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem says "So, what I'd like for you to do, Phan, is to go down to the main substations by the eagle, and check out the wiring there. I want to know if the only issue we have is the computer systems, or if it's the electrical wiring as well." OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem says "Can you do that for me?" MSpc. Hecle Phan says "Got it." MSpc. Hecle Phan says "Radio me if you find any errors." OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem says "Thank you, send me a PDA or radio message if you have some on your end." ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem turned back to her console, and set about working once more, taking a fair bit of time to parse through the information displayed upon the screen, considering she was neither an engineer, or a Fleet technician. However, she could work her way around most systems on the bridge. Firstly, she checked the internal electronic controls on the main substations, searching them for any potential errors that might be causing failsafes, or shutdowns of the ventilation systems. ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem rolled 35 with a INT [55] bonus for 90. ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem noted the first set of errors in the bow section of the ship, humming quietly as she initiated a new wipe of the system's computer to clear off the old data from the ship's construction. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem then turned back to her console, and began to tap away on it once more. Finalizing the HVAMS system checks, she went through port, starboard, bow, stern, checking each quadrant's oxygen discharges and intakes to ensure they were working properly. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem set about her work, now that Phan had finished his. Letting her fingers dance across the keypad as she hunted through system files, and executable commands for each of the pumps in question. Once this was accomplished, the engineer walked his way back to the console, loading it up and checking the panels for activity, returning the things he had removed to their proper positions on the board. ** LCpl. William Saint-Claire checked the panels, ensuring that they were all functioning. If that were the case, he'd walk over towards the other console, having collected his bundle of wires. ** LCpl. William Saint-Claire reached over, pulling up the service panel on the console, beginning to slide the wires into the proper positions. "Thank you very much." He'd say , taking the coffee off the cupboard and setting it onto the console, before walking off with his wire-ends. He moved to the opposing service panel, opening it up and crouching down onto his knee. He clicked his tongue lightly, sliding the cables into the positions as designated by color or lable. He then stood up and walked back, test-running the console. LCpl. William Saint-Claire says "You want to give it a test run up top, Lup'?" OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci says "Ah *per favore* let's." ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci scratching at his nose keyd up the console and pushed it through a system diagnostic cloning the command to the other generator. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci rerouted the functionality up to the bridge. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci sat down at the engineering console. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci tapped his headset as he logged into the console, bringing up power controls. OCdt. Rohan Mandella says "Nice." [128.0] OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci: Alright, Saint-Claire, begin ignition of the Fission Generators. [128.0] LCpl. William Saint-Claire: Yuh'. [PM] LCpl. William Saint-Claire -> OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci: ** LCpl. William Saint-Claire wandered back to the consoles, looking over the buttons. He scratched his cheek once more before leaning down and pressing a few of the buttons. [PM] OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci -> LCpl. William Saint-Claire: Roll for the sake of accidental brilliance [PM] LCpl. William Saint-Claire -> OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci: ** LCpl. William Saint-Claire rolled 43 with a INT [14] bonus for 57. [128.0] OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci: *Va bene, grazie tante* Secondary Fission Generator coming online, make ready in case we need to kill the power swiftly. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci from his console began to slowly push the lever forward on the tertiary power opening up the closed circuits to this new influx of power gradually filling the grid up while managing the output was not too much strain on the system spinning down the main reactor so it was no longer overworked and eased the power into an equillibrium off of the main and secondary power sources. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci smiled to himself and gradually introduced the power to the main grid for the first time since launch the Upham functioning on both Generators instead of just one. 5 hours ago, BaroqueBishop said: Identifying the issue on Fan Number 2, Life support #2 Reveal hidden contents ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem stepped over, and gently kicked at the ventilation grate that that sat mounted just above the floor. Stooping down, she removed the block from it, pulling the bolts before she pulled the grate away, leading to the main duct inside. OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem says "So- what needs to happen, is we need to find out *what* is wrong with the fan, and if possible, fix it now, or see what it needs to be fixed." ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem brushed herself off, and stood up. Spc. Naomi Reel says "Sounds easy." ** Spc. Naomi Reel nodded as she pushed her equipment bag in front of her as she shimmied her fat ass into the hole. As she slowly made her way to the fan, she started taking off panels, looking at the wiring leading to the fan. ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem knelt down at the exit of the grate, peering on inside to observe Reel working. "Have you found any issue?" she queried, though she didn't sound as though she really expected an answer. ** Spc. Naomi Reel quietly hummed as she glanced around at the wiring for the fan unit as she placed the paneling back on. She started to move around in the somewhat tight space to check the motor itself. Spc. Naomi Reel says "Uh... No... Not really... Is the fan connected to another fan?" OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem says "No, this is fan number two - it supplies air flow for this section of the ship, so- the report says the issue is only with this one. Have you checked the wiring that leads to its power source?" ** Spc. Naomi Reel continued to check the motor, seeing that a few wires were damaged. "Ah... I lied... a few wires to be damaged. Easy fix." ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem took off her beret, and shuffled into the hole as well before crawling into the more-so open space for the fan. Bringing her PDA up, she patched it into the control station for the fan, and ensured there was no power flowing to it. "Alright, you should be good to swap everything out. Local power is shut down." ** Spc. Naomi Reel nodded as she popped the panel open as she pulled some wiring out. She started stripping the rubber off as she cut off the bad wiring. She then grabbed a little bit of copper wiring as she started to intertwine it. All the while she quietly hummed. OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem says "Also-" OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem says "Report says that something may be bad with the motor, so I'm going to take a look at that, and see if I can, well, *see* anything wrong." ** Spc. Naomi Reel nodded as she started to soder the new wiring, fixing the damaged wire. As it cooled she started wrapping it in new rubber. ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem slid over behind the fan, crawling through the blades of it to get onto the other side of the ventilation duct. Taking a few moments, she flicked on the light from her PDA, and began to inspect the motor itself, reading over the PDA idly to cross-check the report with what she was doing. ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem rolled 94 with a INT [55] bonus for 149. OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem says "So!" OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem says "It looks as though the motor has some problem with it too, I'm not entirely sure what, since I'm not a mechanic-" ** Spc. Naomi Reel hummed quietly as she looked at the motor. As she opened the paneling to itself to see if there was damage to the wiring. ** From Reel's perspective, the motor itself appeared to have been burnt out by its own rotation, the bearings and windings within the electric-driven rotor damaged, sitting idle in their housing brackets where the fan had fallen quiet. OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem says "You think you can fix it?" Spc. Naomi Reel says "Mhmmm... No. It needs to be replaced... It's all burnt out and the bearings and whatever these are... *She tapped the windings* Are damaged." OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem says "Do we have any of that in stock?" ** Spc. Naomi Reel looked to Nejem "I don't know currently, I haven't had a chance to check our stock pile but last I check we don't." OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem says "Okay, that's fine-" Spc. Naomi Reel says "Since we got on this ship." ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem turned, and crawled back under the fan blades, making her way out of the ventilation duct. ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem turned back, and stooped down, holding a hand into the shaft for Reel's gear bag, and then Reel herself. ** Spc. Naomi Reel soon followed Nejem. She would be covered in dust, dirt and whatever else was in there. ** Spc. Naomi Reel handed the bag and her hand out. "Thank you ma'am." ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem helped pull the woman on out, then went back to replacing the grille that covered the chamber once more. Nodding, she stepped back, and began to tap on her PDA. "No, no. Thank *you* for assisting me with this." UPDATED with requirements. Thread cleaned up a bit. All logs now in here. Link to comment
Solitaire
MAC Alignment Predictive Models Formed, will need live fire tests to be considered completely operational, electronic side handled by Lupi, navigations by Nejem Spoiler ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci loading up the Upham's subsystems his eyes traversing the screen with a steel behind them, he wasn't in the room right now. Randering the Upham as a 3D model on the holographic display he highlighted the gas-thrusters and then narrowed it down to the 32 at the prow that made up for the precision aiming of the Frigate's main gun. Flipping through clearance codes and numerical assignments that he generated for each one and added to the list on the Navigation's console to be used as and when they were needed, the other screen no doubt blipping as it registered these new links. He scowled at the screen and tilted his head toward his own station away from the hologram, the MAC's firing system on screen he began the process of keying it's targetting systems to the adjusting thrusters at the front of the ship. ** OCdt. I'm going to put in some mock targets, and I'll ask you you "acquire" them using the thrusters as the helm." OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem says "Sure." ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci then nodded at Pritchard. OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci says "It's a saturated office indeed." ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem slipped into the Navigations station. OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem says "One moment." Cm. Lloyd Pritchard says "Mhm. MAC cannon training, I assume?" ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem began to tap away at her station, checking the ship's current heading and course, along with its apparent destination. Manually saving them on the console, since the data recorders didn't work properly, she then began to slow the ship down, bringing it to a full stop temporarily. "Full stop, ready for targets." ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci lowered his hands once more to the console, frabricating targetting pings. "MAC cannon allignment, I'm going to make actual test firing a bit of an event." Grnerating one at first that was just right off centre, the contact fabricated to look like the Upham was pointed toward it's port side. OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci says "First target." ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem checked the coordinates of the first target, and where it was in relation to the port side of the ship. Artfully going about her craft, she fired off the bow-mount alignment thrusters, propelling the ship into a slow backwards turn to port. Steering them in a low-swinging arc, she brought the ship's nose to bear on the 'target', after which she fired off the counter-thrusters to what had been previously shooting the Upham into its position, effectively stopping their interia from the first turn. Every so often, as she monitored the alignment to their target, she'd fire off a few thrusters selectively, keeping the ship focused down precisely upon the mock sight. OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem says "Alignment complete, holding on target." ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci nodded leaning forward and inputting a line of code that he created and the systems reacted as if they were undergoing an actual firing, when in actuality all it was was creating a predictive model for power surges and safety thresholds, the mock-shot being only at a 1/3 power. He "fired" it. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci rolled 15 with a INT [65] bonus for 80. Player Bav has joined the game ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem paused as the MAC was fired, after which she began thruster burns once more to countermand the force sent through the ship as the mock slug careened out from its rail on the ship's spine, keeping them aligned on target, at least until told otherwise. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci nodded. "Adding variables." The targetting resetting and this time coded in a target that was playing chicken with the Upham, prow-to-prow and was outside effective range of 20.000km at about 25,000km. It was moving toward them. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci keeping a weather eye on the predictive models being made allocated his efforts to ensuring the results were recorded, he shook his head slightly. "Of course to ensure the math is right we'll have to actually fire it at some point once this calibration is done we'll need to find something dead to shoot her at." He waded his hands over the models and scratched his chin as he observed the results of the first test. ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem held the current thruster burn, watching as her screen displayed the current route of the target that was playing chicken with them, Humming quietly, she fired the aft thrusters, sending them forward and in a turn to starboard, in an attempt to get the MAC cannon a shot on where the target would be, over where it was. She was making very rapid calculations based off her knolwedge of Nav and Weapons, after which she took manual control of the ship, guiding it into the desired firing lane. ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem rolled 66 with a INT [55] bonus for 121. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci nodded, and fired the mock-slug with a tapping of his fingers across the console. His eyes drifting over the reports the target feedback showing the target was gutted from prow to aft he smirked. "*Magnifico.*" OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem says "Good shot." ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci tilted his head and began to scrub the targets from the scopes once more. "Let's make it a hat trick. But with an obstacle." His pianists hands dancing over the station and eyes tilting in his skull rapidly as he processed the information like a sponge and responded in kind, he generatored two pings one moving past them at a sharp angle up toward the 11 o'clock and the other bearing down on their position from a distance approaching from the starboard side where they were the ones with their sides exposed. ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem paused as the new pings appeared on her screen, humming in thought briefly before she sent the ship into a steep dive, off to starboard, whilst activating that side's chemical thrusters to almost 'drift' the ship down into a new angle of fire. Making futher alignment corrects with every new ping upon her screen of the two new ships coming down upon them in the pincer-like movement. Once again, she began to chart a new potential firing line off, plotting their distance from the first ship that was coming towards their former 11, and the second ship that had began to bank upwards. Really was a hat trick, this time, giving the gun a potential shot on both targets, were she to get it right. ** OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem rolled 66 with a INT [55] bonus for 121. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci smirked seeing the targets line up beautifully on his scope. "And to finish our production.." He fired, the predictive models on his screen once again casting him in yellow light as they computed the process of firing the MAC, everything he saw was rendered in the clear by the Secondary Reactors finally being active. The round lurching forward at literally over 2 million miles perhour slamming in and through the first target and *decapitating* the next with it's entre prow bridge and all deparing from them rest. OCdt. Roskana 'Pie' Nejem says "We should try that out in real combat one of these days." ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci smirked. "Oh I think we shall fit it into our schedule." He gathered up the numbers into a sizeable and thourough report template. "I'll show these to Nash and see how he feels about a live fire test." Solitaire
Logs amending the pressure control issues Spoiler ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci checking his PDA brought up the Upham unfinished systems list. He scrolled through the list disregarding those requiring parts and pieces that needed installation and regarded the few issues they had left that required only computing inputs to be aleviated. He centred his ice-blue hues on the pressure control functions. Transferring the engineering station to his own and bringing up a render of the Upham, then cycled through the map it generated highlighting the Enlisted Barracks, Medical Bay and Mess Hall/Canteen the rest of the image shattering and being disregarded he sifted the raw specifications onto the screen in front of him, his eyes wading across the currently detected air pressure in the rooms in question and rubbed at his chin. Placing his hands down on the keyboard once more he isolated the three systems ready to be worked on systemantically. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci bringing up the enlisted barracks pressure control on his screen began to use the system to take a measure of the conditions of the room met with a brickwall as he was flattened in his efforts by the lack of sensor activity. He took his PDA from his belt and began to search through the Upham's systems troubleshooting guide for the pressure controls. Scratching at his chin and with the Engineering station technically right in front of him he began to set the system through an electrical reset in the barracks after checking the security cameras for occupants, he'd use the repaired remote blast door controls to subject the barracks to a closed environment and began to cycle the room of it's oxygen to reboot the system. His eyes tilting across the screen watchign the air levels decreasing waited until they hit 0 and then setting the system to reboot itself. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci rolled 91 with a INT [65] bonus for 156. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci smiled as the system came back online and the room detecting the crimminal lack of oxygen in the barracks suddenly flooded it with the O2 filling the room to capacity he then rose the blast doors he had lowered to seal the room and isolate it in a controlled environment and trigger the emergency protocals and give the system a jumpstart. He then moved onto the messhall, seeing it was occupied he redirected his efforts to the medical bay, squinting given the size of the bay and the active equipment electing not to use the system reboot method as he had with the barracks. Rubbing at his chin he put the system through a toubleshooter process and watched as the errors appeared on his console, his eyes darting around the screen before him, rapping his finger melodically against the station. He pursed his lips and checked the circuits for intergration problems. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci rolled 51 with a INT [65] bonus for 116. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci nodded. Opening up the blocked cirsuits remotely and beginning to have the recently repaired life surrport systems flood the place with that rich O2 solution that made space travel bearable. His hands dancing over the console zero'd in on the mess hall once again he flicked at his own cheek with his right index finger, pursing his lips and focusing on the readouts on his screen, squinting and checking over the rooms various intakes and systems that include the freezer and stoves. He leant back, then back forward looking at the screen checking to see if the protocals for the electricity to these systems were interfereing with the integration of the pressure controls. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci rolled 72 with a INT [65] bonus for 137. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci smirked, his hunch correct with his hands flying across the interface began to set the electrics of the kitchen appliances to a seperate activity frequency to prevent a crossing of their activation signals to the engineering station and isolating both systems from eachother, smirking as the oxygen levels began to rise once more. Solitaire
Automatic Docking Integration and Electrical Test Spoiler OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci says "This should be a short task." OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci says "I won't keep you long." ** Spc. Naomi Reel nodded. ** Spc. Naomi Reel looked amazed. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci smirked. "Something isn't it?" ** Spc. Naomi Reel nodded in silence. Spc. Naomi Reel says "Alright so where is the thing that I need to install?" ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci standing next to a crate which he flipped open the latches off presenting Reel with a motherboard that controlled automatic dropship docking protocals he then gestured to the navigations station. "We just need this wired in and tested for faults." ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci relaxed his posture, and tilted his head toward Reel guaging her reaction. ** Spc. Naomi Reel nodded as she took out a screwdriver. She opened up the panelling to the Navigation system as she pulled the mother board out. She looked at the wiring for it and then the wiring into the system. She quietly started pulling rubber apart and intertwine the wires together that needed to be connected. Then she rapped it back in new rubbering as she placed the motherboard in the apropriate spot. She didn't seem to have much emotion or reaction. She picked the panelling up and screwed it back in. ** Spc. Naomi Reel turns to Lupi "Okay sir, it is installed." ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci tilted his head at her, squinting at her lack of...flair then gestured to the console. "An integration test? From an electrical stand point." ** Spc. Naomi Reel looked around on the paneling. She pressed a few buttons that seemed to be labelled. The light going green as automated docking and dedocking light work. "Well... I think it works." Spc. Naomi Reel says "Green light says so." Powering up the Retaliator Crane Spoiler OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci says "Our port side torpedo loading crane currently lacks power, and accordinging to Warrant Officer Slaughter's spec's all that needs doing is -... well I say *all* that needs doing to provide it with power.." Spc. Naomi Reel says "Wow, I'd never have guessed that." OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci says "Is the installation of the 1000 volt-3 phase powr lines." ** Spc. Naomi Reel chuckles. OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci says "All of them." ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci smirked. Spc. Naomi Reel says "Oh.,." Spc. Naomi Reel says "That sounds like it'd hurt." OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci says "Remember, I'll be *forever* grateful." ** Spc. Naomi Reel rolls her eyes as she smirks. "Owe me two, Lupi. Where can I work on this? Also is the power off to the wires?" OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci says "The power's already off so you don't have to worry about that. And it'll be a manual thing down off the bottom deck." ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci rolled up the trolley and began the process of unloadingthe crates unlatching them from the trolley. ** Spc. Naomi Reel helped with the process, opening the tops of the crates as she looked in them.. ** Inside would be the required 1000 volt-3 phase wires that would connect and manage the voltage of the loading crane for the Upham's until now inoperable nuclear torpedo launcher. ** Spc. Naomi Reel started pulling out the phase one lines, slowly dragging them to wall. She looked at the connection sites, humming quietly. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci continued in the unloaidng of the crates, popping them open for Reel. ** Spc. Naomi Reel pulled out the phase one wiring as she looked at, humming quietly. Determining that they were in fine condition she plugged it into the outlet from the crane operation. She dragged the other end slowly back and connected to the power source of the ship. Lightly biting her lips. She continued doing this for a few other 1st phase lines that were acceptable in condition and hooked them up to the crane to outlet power system. OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci says "Are you sure you don't want a beverage?" -I went to get coffee- ** Spc. Naomi Reel grabbed the second phase line, frowning that one had been damaged or rubbering had rotted. She took out her knife and cut the rubbering off as she pulled out new rubbering from the second crate. She slowly wrapped it up, making sure it was secured. ** Spc. Naomi Reel grabbed a second set of phase lines, 2nd phase lines as she pulled it over. She connected the phase lines in their proper spots. She checked the conditions of the wiring, determining that they were in good health. She hooked them to the crane power outlet to the ship power outlet. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci placed down the tray and taking up the coffee with cream and sugars offered it out to Reel. "How's it coming?" ** Spc. Naomi Reel grabbed a coffee, taking a small sip. "Good... Stage two is up and installed." OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci says "*Magnifico.* Is there anything I can do to aid you?" ** Spc. Naomi Reel shook her head "Not really Lupi. Just simple plug and play. Just gotta make sure the wires aren't damaged." ** Spc. Naomi Reel sipped more of her coffee, sighing a relief. OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci says "Is it good?" Spc. Naomi Reel says "Very." OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci says "Do you drink coffee a lot? Or more of a cold drink person?" ** Spc. Naomi Reel placed the cup down as she grabbed the third phase line. The wiring seemed damaged. She started taking out the wire needed to repair as she interwined and adding new wiring to repair it. She did this for a few sections of the wiring as she wrapped it back in new rubber casing. Spc. Naomi Reel says "Uh." Spc. Naomi Reel says "Depends on who I am with." Spc. Naomi Reel says "Some people make me wanna drink." ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci chuckled softly. ** LCpl. Jeremy Hawkins wandered on over in a southern accent. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci nodded understandingly and took a sip. LCpl. Jeremy Hawkins says "Howdy, sir." ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci glanced around and nodded to Hawkins. "*Salve* how are you today Lance Corporal?" ** LCpl. Jeremy Hawkins hooked his hands on his combat webbing. "Doin' fine, sir. Y'self?" ** Spc. Naomi Reel grabbed the wiring as she dragged it to the crane outlet, connecting it to the corresponding section it needed to be. She then connected it to the power outlet for the ship as she hummed, turning to Lupi. Spc. Naomi Reel says "That should do it, Lupi." ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci nodded and took his dataslate from his leg imputting his access to the Weapons Systems and looking up at the wiring as he opened the circuits to the power. ** Whoofed. The third lining caught fire. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci cut the power and above them the automatic fire supression system kicked in, spraying the fire with a suitable compund. ** Spc. Naomi Reel grabbed her portable fire extinguisher as she awaited for the power to cut off. Spc. Naomi Reel says "Oh." OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci says "I'm glad I fixed that first." Spc. Naomi Reel says "Cool." ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci smiled. ** Spc. Naomi Reel put the extinguisher down as she let it cool first before pulling the rubber back. "Ah... I missed a section." She pulled the lining out of one socket as she cut the melted rubber off, looking to the wiring. She quickly intertwined the new wiring to it, soddering it back to a proper state that could hold power. She let it cool before adding new rubbering as she backed off. "Try now Lupi." ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci nodded looking down at the dataslate once again feeding the power into the crane. ** No fires bursted, the power levels holding. Spc. Naomi Reel says "Well... Is it getting power?" ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci looked down at the slate and nodded, then set the crane to begin the loading process, in the next section the massive pulley system hoisted a huge missle onto the firing rail as it slid into place and was latched by the tubes locking mechanisms. ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci smiled. "*Belissimo.* Specialist Reel. I shall pass along a word to your detatchemnt head." Spc. Naomi Reel says "You owe me two~ and nice." Spc. Naomi Reel says "Get some more brownie points." OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci says "*One* the first task I didn't realise would be so simple." ** OCdt. Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci smirked at her. "I'll show these to Nash and see how he feels about a live fire test." Alvaro 'Lupi' Lupinacci checking his PDA brought up the Upham unfinished systems list. 3 hours ago, Solitaire said: Automatic Docking Integration and Electrical Test Reveal hidden contents OCdt. Naomi Reel says "Green light says so." Powering up the Retaliator Crane Reveal hidden contents OCdt.
