[A MESSAGE TO A GOOD MAJORITY OF HIGHER LEVEL LEADERSHIP VIA PDA]

Yes. Hello. Okay.

To the vast majority of you I am subordinate, and to some significantly so, however it has come to a point where something must be said once again. I don't believe the urgency was properly projected. We are functioning at an inadequate state of offensive/defensive preparedness - in terms of gunnery systems that is - additional details to follow.

Of 12 MW-888 35mm Defence Guns / "Trip-Eights" only 6 are operational. 4 require a physical connection to occur, meaning that EVA systems engineers are required to perform a spacewalk to complete the unfinished task of dry-dock weapon systems technicians - the other 2 are a concern of Fleet as this only requires us to get our technicians, or any engineer with a high systems competency, to complete coupling with integrated ship (fire) suppression systems. All 6 will need to be ran through the suppression network afterwards.

Of 4 MK1 Multi-Purpose Missile Systems / "Firestorms" only 2 are operational. The inoperable pair also require a physical connection. Read the above for specifics. Anything after that is, again, the problem of competent technicians.

More than one EVA competent systems engineer is necessary for this task as this is not only space, where things can and will fly at you at incomprehensible speeds, these are weapons platforms more than three times the width and height of any human, that can very easily dislodge and or kill you should they reorient abruptly whilst you work on them.

(TL:DR? Multiple Engineers. Spacewalk. Connect guns. Do it.)

Ultimately this is not a suggestion. Get it done. Or I will go out myself.

Okay.

[A SWIFT FOLLOW UP MESSAGE]

Oh also.

Our Telemetry Suite Sensors are in need of tending to by EVA technicians. I don't know what the fuck that means or entails but it's probably something important. Talk to Navigation about it.

[A REPLY TO PETTY OFFICER SETU'S MESSAGE]

Petty Officer, I find this message very unnecessary and unprofessional. I myself have talked to Lieutenant Winters. She has assured me that she's going to get it done in a timely manner.

In the future I would appreciate it if you left this to myself or the Captain.
