"The UCF-187 Hiroo Onoda is one of many Federation ships to have developed a unique culture surrounding it's namesake. As Terran History tells, Hiroo Onoda was one of the last soldiers of Imperial Japan to surrender after the Second World War, which ended in 1945. 2Lt Onoda did not surrender his position in the Phillipines until 1974. Thus, the inspiration for the motto "Mori Quam Foedari". Due to studying in similar circles, a later aesthetic affinity for Pacific Theater Second World War Artwork developed by the Onoda's inhabiting crew. Here is some of the artwork that may be on display when the Onoda comes into orbit to protect your planet!"
