Criminal Record: N/A Summary of Pre-Enlistment Life: Melchert was born and raised in a relatively loving family, and spent the entirety of his early years within the confines of the 'better' portions of the city of Seattle. He led an overwhelmingly ordinary existence, and completed High School with a GPA of 2.8. Prior to enlisting in the Mobile Infantry, Melchert led a comfortable, but monotonous life. It was this simple fact, alongside another reason yet-undisclosed by the teen himself, that would eventually spur his decision to join the Federal Armed Forces in the year 2296. Relationships Loved - Respected - Close Friend - Friend - Acquaintance - Neutral - Disliked - Hated Dutch Bower - I was offered a limited amount of time to get to know him during operation [:REDACTED:]. From what I was able to observe, he seems as though he can be rather overbearing at times and, as evidenced by my pock-marked combat armoring, a bit too trigger-happy for his own good. Still, I do not dislike the man. I simply feel as though he needs to spend a bit more time training, and a bit less time attempting to abuse his newly-acquired Lance Corporal chevrons. Charles Johansson - Another infantryman I was allowed the pleasure of knowing during operation [:REDACTED:]. From what I was able to gather, he seemed to be a rather level-headed individual. Alongside Smith, he was one of the first to inquire about my own mental well-being during that accursed drop. While the check-up was likely simply a means to assess my own combat effectiveness, I was nonetheless grateful for it. Carlton Smith - An enigmatic individual, and another member of the team sent to deal with operation [:REDACTED:]. He was one of the first to come to my aid after an unfortunate lapse in my psychological soundness led to me becoming irrationally attached to a burning dumpster. Instead of following along behind several others in the team, and abandoning me to freeze out in the snowy wastes, Smith and Johansson came to my aid in rendering said dumpster mobile. An embarrassing tale to be sure, but one that I will keep close to my heart. I do not drink alcohol, but I will be sure to have Ravio 'pour one out' for you when I next get the chance.
