The narcotic drug known as ‘dust’ is just another in a long line of dangerous and addictive drugs criminals produce and sell. The effect of these drugs on the fabric of society is profound. Not only do they seriously impair a person’s ability to be an effective and contributive member of society. As for 'Dust' itself, it is the highly processed pollen of a large flowering bush that is native to a planet orbiting Epsilon Indi. Long before the narcotic possibilities of its pollen were known, the bush (which is very attractive, with bluish-green leaves and a riot of large red flowers) was transplanted to multiple planets throughout the Federation for the utterly innocuous purpose of landscaping. It flourishes in any environment habitable to humans, meaning it now grows wild on more than a dozen worlds. Anyone found in possession of the addictive narcotic or willfully under the effects of it, will face charges and prosecution by Federal Policing Agencies. [Information from Federal Law Enforcement Agencies] It is suggested when working with the substance, gas masks are to be worn and proper decontamination protocols should be followed. There is a chance that this rehabilitation will not help. Instead the character will anxiously await their next encounter with the drug, craving it every moment they live, UNLESS they seek further counseling. All character exposed to the substance have a possibility to suffer from the side effects. Sometimes rehabilitation will lead to nervous ticks of sorts, similar to how smokers tend to snack a lot. And since I'm nice. 20 -100 is determining time and effectiveness, however I will leave effectiveness to the players choice. 1 - 10 will most likely be it failed horrifically and the character can wither carry on with the addiction or seek further counseling which my result in a longer TK (1-3 days) once again.
